Not as advertised
Unfortunately, the interior coating is not non-stick as I was led to believe. Our first attempt at using it out of the box was a disaster and over half the food was ruined because it stuck so bad. We have to treat it like raw cast iron and oil it after each use and then use oil or cooking spray when we use it to keep food from sticking. I tried to call the Lava company to find out if there was something special that needed to be done, but once they found out it was an Amazon order, they refused to speak to me and said to call Amazon. I don't expect Amazon to be able to tell me if there is anything special with their product. I do like the size quite a bit, but the actual performance leaves a lot to be desired.

While the description says it is completely coated in enamel, it is not. The outside, and the handles, are all enamel. But, the inside is still raw cast iron, and must be seasoned properly. Don't assume it is non-stick out of the packaging.

Amazing quality, great product
Amazing quality, great product. I have been using it for a while now and I see no wearing.. The polished interior finish really works too- preventing the sticking and it makes my dishes very tender and tasty!

Not as great as expected
Arrived with extremely rough inside corners and a large chip in the enamel. nice and heavy, but the inside should be smooth.

Very solid pan with a rougher enamel on the inside than what is on the outside but it works for me and I love all Lava Signature Enameled products
Got mine yesterday and it is exactly what I wanted. Can't wait to use it. Very solid pan with a rougher enamel on the inside than what is on the outside but it works for me and I love all Lava Signature Enameled products. Have several Lava cookware and it's so easy cooking with them and clean up is no problem.

Solid piece of cookware, really adept in the kitchen.
Only cooked twice in this dish and I already love it. It's rugged but not too heavy and at ease both on the stovetop and in the oven. The twice baked enamel inside will brown stuff beautifully and will also deglaze cleanly which makes for a pretty versatile piece of cookware. Will add to this as I continue to use it, but so far so good.
