Highwild Game Hanging Gambrel & Hoist Kit

I bought this to hang my food pack in BWCA. I left the gambrel at home as I needed the hoist. I wish it came in its own bag to store everything. Otherwise, it works great! Good pulleys, good rope. Works wonderfully.

Needed one to carry in side by side. This is made great, holds any size deer or hog, and folds up to take up less space. Plus cheaper than any of the stores around here.

Product works well and overall quality is very good. Knocked down 1 star due to the very poor rope quality. Wear gloves with good grip while using since poly rope is very slippery. I will replace rope with diamond braid rope.

Worked well was bale to skin 2 deer and no complaints from me

Used to butcher a lamb and goat, easy for one person to use. Easy to clean and put away.

Really like this, could of used diffrent rope, but all in all works great

Should have purchased a solid one. This comes apart at the center too easy

Worked well lifting the deer and held well no problem. It was getting it down was the issue. There is a "brake" for the rope so it holds the weight but with any weight on the rope we couldnt get the rope to let go and come down. Maybe im not doing something right... we had to remove the weight that was left to get the brake to let go, was a real pain. Ill probably cut that off and just tie the rope to something instead

It looks very durable and I like how it food down to leave less of a foot print. But it would of been nice if it came with a carry bag. I like to hike into mature tree lines and hunt. Therefore I like how it breaks down. The only thing that could make it better is the carrying bag just to keep it all together and for packing purposes.
