MOOG you won my heart ššøš¾š¶
I usually by Mission Engineering Pedals when possible but like this one better. It looks cheaper but works way better. Itās very solid. Smooth to handle. Itās an awesome pedal for if you are serious about playing. Itās not the best looking thing on the floor but itās the best working thing down there. Whenever possible I will keep using these. Iām tired of paying so much for my Mission Engineering ones. MOOG you won my heart. This one is used with my Hologram Chroma Console crazy cool FX thingamajig.

Excellent with Fractal FM3!! Does NOT need AC supply! 5.0 review!!
Works perfectly. This is a 5.0 product review! Almost seemlessly plug-n-play. Just have to "tell" your Fractal how to communicate with it. Has a nice clean smooth wah sweep and raised just a little for a good foot height. Needs only one cable, and it comes with that (TRS cable)! Probably will want one longer; it's about 6 foot, I think.. Decent value. Any cheaper, and you will possibly just get lesser build quality. That said, this is a robust pedal that I CAN stand on rocked to one side!! lol. But, beyond reasonable use, don't intentionally beat on it on the road and expect it to function perfectly forever.

Works great once you figure it out, zero instructions are provided
Like many people I had the issues with the pedal not doing the full sweep, outputing logarithmic output, etc. It comes with basically no instructions, so it's very confusing. Zero points for instructions. I'm using it to hook up with my Yamaha MX 88 Synth. Turned out I needed to flip the polarity switch on the bottom to "other", and adjust the knob on the side to about 3 o' clock, and it worked great! It was rather difficult figuring out how to actually control the voices using the pedal, as the Yamaha manual is very dense but that's on Yamaha, not Moog. For example lets say I wanted to set up a Wah effect on the guitar sound. First I chose my guitar voice. Then I had to set which CC to control in the Utilities > Controller > FC1. This is basically giving the controller a name that MIDI can use. I picked CC#12 because it was unused. Then I had to find the effect I wanted to do in Edit > Part > 05: Voice Insert Eff, trying to figure out what all these ridiculous abbreviations mean. Turns out the one I was looking for was "WAH: VCM PedalWah". Then finally I set the effect to be controlled by the foot controller in Edit > Part > 07: Voice Ctrl Set > Set6 (pick an unused set) > Source = FC1, "Dest=INSA:EfPdCtl", Depth=+63And then finally with all these gosh dang settings, the darn guitar sound actually went wah. So much gobbledegook abbreviations bleah

works for midi expression
Works fine as an expression pedal with my midi keyboard. However, I have a stompbox which accepts CV input and this pedal will not control the stompbox. Maybe I am misunderstanding how it works.

Built well.
I play keyboards and have been using this pedal for a year and a half. It's built like a tank. It has a longer throw than the Roland pedal, so you can bring other sounds in and out more evenly. I also have to bring sounds in or out immediately and this pedal does it flawlessly. Although taller than other pedals, it hasn't been a problem for me as I sit when I play.

Great Solid Pedal
I own two of these, one was for gigging and now one at home. Very solid, the pedal holds it's position on stage as you lift off your foot and continue to play to the audience. I have another brand of expression pedal that feels and is flimsy. This pedal is a bit taller than other volume and expression pedals I've used but it suits me.

moog quality
It feels like a super solid build, and with all the different ways I can implement it, it's well worth the money. The included cable is a bit thin so it may be a good idea to have a backup for live use.Using this with my alesis ion synth and my boss dd7 and it works well for both. It may be the particular synth I'm using, but when used as a volume pedal it decreases in volume really fast, so I feel like I'm only using the top 15% of the pedal's range because it's so sensitive. The synth does have the ability to assign it to anything and adjust the slope so it's something I'll work around or I'll get used to it.
