Ink The Savings! Buy This Rotary!
I was very excited about this purchase because I never used/owned a rotary tattoo machine. Using the standard 10 coil tattoo machine was a labor of love. The standard coil tattoo machines have a lot of parts and adjustments. You have to know how a coil works and how to troubleshoot to get the coil machine set up to work properly. Non professional tattoo artist have to learn how to strip down coil machines and learn how to deal with the weight of a coil tattoo machine. TATTOO SUPPLY PRO Tattoo Rotary Motor Machine was great straight from the box! In my opinion I would never give up a coil tattoo machine, but I would add this rotary to my arsenal. There are no serviceable parts on this machine. If it burns out I would just buy another one. For the price you can buy multiple without a big hit to the pocket. The rotary was reliable in that it was a decent liner but what surprised me was that it was hitting hard enough to pack ink and to also be great with shading. The weight was awesome when shading. Very lightweight. Coils are great but im starting to have issues with the weight of a coil when I shade tattoos. This rotary is almost weightless, making maneuvering easier with less tiring as when you are shading with a coil. The rotary has no special demands. You can use all your tubes, tips, grips and needles that you use with your coil machine. The same power clip that you use for your coil machine may be used for this machine. It is plastic. Made no difference to me that it was a primarily plastic machine; it got the job done lining and shading. Very quiet. Down next to the tube holder is a knob to stabilize the needle. I didn't use that adjustment but when you twist it to the right a wheel with a groove comes up and rest at the top of the needle to prevent the needle from wobbling from the machines vibration. So no need for rubber bands to hold needles in place. Very good and economical buy. Like I said I would never stop using a coil but have added this rotary machine to my arsenal. There is virtual no pre adjustments needed on this machine to do a tattoo. The coil is a different animal. Give this rotary a stab.

Go to Machine
For a cheap machine, especially for someone just getting into tattooing, this is a great choice. I bought 4 (2 Black/2 Red) and have done all my tattooing with them. The plastic frames make them exceptionally lightweight and they have very low vibration and noise. And at the cost, if any of them ever go belly-up, they can be replaced for the cost of a small bottle of ink. Absolute must for anyone that's trying to get started on a budget

The longevity of this machine isn't bad at all
The longevity of this machine isn't bad at all. I see reviews from people that say it dies after a couple of hours but mine has so far lasted 10 tattoos at at least 4 hours each, so 40+ hours. Super light weight and comfortable. Just be sure to clean and maintain it. 4 stars just rated because mine didn't come fully assembled but it was a quick 30 second thing.

Dragonfly chinese not real
this is a good product and it runs well but its not the real dragon the seller should let you know i bought this for my son and found out that it wasnt quite the machine he was looking for. its Chinese and it doesn't line as good as the real dragonfly but rotary arent the best for lining i do recomend this for a beginner but as far as a good tattooist dont be fooled by the images it is a cheap replica im sure you could put a good swiss motor in there and it would run smooth as butter

DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE EVEN TO PRACTICE WITH IT IS DANGEROUS AND HURT MY CLIENT READ FULL REVIEW
I am a professional Tattoo artist and wanted to give the rotary a try just to see what everyone was talking about. Everyone in the shop still uses could so figured I'd get a cheap one to try out. I figured it may last through at least one tattoo. NEGATIVE it didn't even get through a minute of it. The linkage that connects the rotary motor to the needle holder/armature bar broke and threw the metal linkage into my clients face and left a pretty mark. My client now got a tattoo half off and I'm out the money because of this. This machine says it can run at 14v so I was conservative about it and only used it at about 9.75 volts. If this thing would have been running at full speed I would hat to see what this would have done to my client. Hopefully Amazon will look at this one and either make the manufacturer fix this issue or take it off of Amazon before someone gets hurt bad with the piece of metal that flys off of the machine.

Works for me
I'm happy so far. And it's crazy light. ***UPDATE*** I have been using this machine for a couple of months now, and am stupid impressed. I have had zero problems with it. I did drop it cleaning it one evening and the tube nut lost the little picture of a tattoo machine, but other than that everything is still great. I use it daily.

You won't believe how nice!
I honestly can't say enough good things about how amazingly nice this machine is for the cost. It runs quite well for lining, shading and coloring, with some slight adjustments by using the top adjustment knob you can dial it in pretty well to suit your liking. Its so very light but can really lay in the ink. You can't beat these for the price period!

And this one is the best. And it's the cheapest
I don't know why reviews on this are so low. I have ordered over 20 different types of rotarys. And this one is the best. And it's the cheapest. Wierd. I've tattooed alot of great pieces with it. I love it
