Flag Cremation Urns for Adult Ashes - for Funeral, Niche, Columbarium or Burial - Urns for Ashes - Large, Medium, Extra Large and Keepsake (Blue Line Flag, Small/Keepsake)

I spent weeks looking around for an urn of this quality. The selection of urns at the funeral home were very limited, nowhere near this quality and cost twice as much. They charged me a $70 "handling" fee to use it for the cremation. Even at that combined price, this urn is a better value for the urns that they offered. Don't get me wrong. The funeral home is excellent. They are just weak in the area of cremation urns., specifically,nothing for veterans.The artwork is flawless. The quality of the finish is superior. The construction is heavy brass and well formed. The lid fits tightly, and the flag design perfectly matches that of the urn. I looked everywhere and could not find even the smallest flaw.It arrived in two days, excellent service if you need it in a hurry. It came in a plastic bag, then in bubble wrap, then inside a foam paneled box, well protected. It even has a packet of desiccant to absorb moisture in the box. It has a 4" x 6" label of the side of the box with a small 1"x 1" photo of the urn and very small lettering , "American Flag" and "Large cremation urn". You can specify Amazon private packaging on the order if you want privacy.Inside the urn is a clear plastic bag that is used for storing of the cremains(ashes).It comes with a black velvet bag. Now here is where there is a minor difference in the item. The ad photo shows a black bag with gold lettering and a large gold tassel. There is no lettering, and it only has a thin black tassel. It's a minor replacement, and the bag typically does not go with the urn in its niche. It certainly does not warrant a reduction of a star, but I wish it had come with the gold tassel for presentation purposes.One last thing. It is generally recommended to seal screw-on urns with silicon sealer. It's easier to screw on, and easier to unscrew if there ever becomes a need to reopen the urn. Two highly recommended silicon sealers are the Loctite 908570 "Clear Silicon Waterproof Sealant" squeeze tube, and the GE GE284 "Advanced Silicon 2 Kitchen and Bath Sealant Caulk, Clear" squeeze tube. Each are about $4.All in all, I am very, very pleased. Outstanding product!

My father was Vietnam Veteran under Zumwalt. His life will be forever remembered for the sacrifices he made for his family as well as the Military men and women of todays Armed Service. The urn for me is the greatest signifier of his honor, courage and commitment to his country. I was so moved by this urn's patriotic representation. Any Military service member or funreral home, if cremation is an option, this urn is a great choice for cremated remains I am having a memorial ceremony in a couple of months, and taking my father home to place his remains as he requested, next to his brother who was also a Military member; in Eudora Arkansas.

The Urn itself was very nice. When you take it out of the box you are really impressed by how it looks until you take a closer look at it. The first one I ordered had 3 dents in it, several good sized scratches on it, the paint on the lid was crackling and there were spots with little chips of paint on it that were missing. It looked like it was a floor model instead of brand new. I'm returning that one after ordering a replacement and the 2nd one was much nicer. Still not flawless but no dents, paint job was very good but there still were some scratches, much smaller and less noticeable. The manufacturer must do a better job in their quality control process when they make these. Considering what the product is, an urn for the ashes of a loved one that will be on display for many years, they need to be more aware of what the urn portrays about their brand.

This urn is as beautiful in person as it is in the photo. It is sturdy and well built. I was worried about the opening being large enough to fit the bag of ashes in but it worked out just fine.

We ordered this urn to honor my father and his service to our country through his 22-year career in the USAF. A pilot in Vietnam and other engagements, his service was humble, but his heart for our country was proud. He will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery. We were glad to learn that the dimensions of this urn will fit in the columbarium niche.It has a threaded lid which helps to feel that the contents will be more secure upon transporting it to wherever necessary. It is a solid design with a sturdy base. The silver accents lend a classic look to this patriotic piece.Thank you for your quick delivery on this urn. The timing was so perfect that it was delivered at the precise time that the funeral director was here in our home taking care of some final details. It was nice to be able to track how close the item was to our home so we could see exactly when it would be at our doorstep. It was well packaged and protected well inside the styrofoam and bubble wrapped box. We look forward to celebrating his life with full honors at Arlington and this urn will represent this proud American well. Thank you! :)

The fit, finish and color is beautiful and if I hadn't bought a different Urn for my wife, I'd be giving this one 5 starsbut compared to hers, this one is not as heavy and doesn't give you that feel of sturdiness that hers does. It's notas thick, and comparing the 2 side by side, I like hers better, all except for the color. As a Vietnam Vet and 11 yrservice veteran, 3 active, 8 reserve, the flag design does it. It beats all the other flag designs I looked at and for thatreason, I'll keep it. BTW, before buying on line, I looked at some at the funeral home that is to handle our remainsand besides being a lot cheaper, they didn't appear to be as well made as either of these.Dano

Such a stunningly beautiful urn. I am buying a second one too. I wish they also had the keepsake size available.

My husband is a Fallen Fire Fighter, I ordered the keepsake size to be able to have him present at a ceremony as well as memorial mass. His fellow firefighters absolutely loved the gesture & the urn. It’s great quality & the box it’s shipped in is beautiful. I highly recommend & I’m sure my hubby would be honored that I have a little of him displayed in the gorgeous keepsake
