Not ment for climbing
Do not by these for climbing. These are not certified for climbing. They are fine for carrying things but DO NOT CLIMB WITH THEM!!!!

They are ok but the springs fail quickly.
Used 2 of these for a few days and one of them the lock spring is already failing.

Initial impression is good
Looks big enough for what I need, and it's so much faster and easier than the ones that you have to screw closed. I'm going to be using these to latch a harness onto a pulley system, and a zip line.

Strong and secure
We actually bought these to reinforce the door on the crate we keep the dog in, because she learned that if she pushed hard enough, she could bend the metal just enough to pop the door open and escape. These are some serious carabiners! They are strong and secure. They are so good, in fact, that our dog gave up trying to pop the door open. Nope. Instead, she warped the back of the crate to get out. Looks like we need carabiners on the back, too!

I Like These Carabiners
I have a number of Favofit's smaller/"less strong" carabiners in spring gate, screw gate, and twist gate. All works very well and I'm very pleased with the price/quality ratio. It's taken me a bit to get used to these twist gate carabiners (both the smaller ones and this item). Easier to unlock the gate than the screw type, but it comes with a trade-off: I need two hands to twist the gate on this (where I can unlock a screw gate with one hand). Each, however, has its place and as such I am really glad to add these carabiners to my collection. As I noted, the price is pretty good and the quality is very nice. As with all non-climbing carabiners I don't put absolute faith in the weight limit claims, but I do know these will hold the heavy loads I need them to hold.Very nice. 5 stars.

Can't be beat for this price
These things are excellent. Extremely easy to use with one hand even when loaded. Unlocking them is very smooth and they spring shut fast and secure every single time. They are light but very well built and are plenty strong. Even when side loaded they function perfectly. Good finish and rope slides right through with very little resistance. The gate is nice and wide but not so wide that you need to hands to keep them open. This is an excellent product that cant be beat in its price range. I highly suggest these carabiners to anyone who needs to tie into any kind of rope access activity.

These are high speed!
I am not a mountain climber! But I do like to workout with large loop resistance bands. I know, you are not supposed to use a carabiner with bands. Recipe for disaster! But not with these! They are 10 times stronger feeling then a regular good quality stainless steel carabiner. I got these because they are wider at both ends and looked like they would fit through the door anchor loop and the band better. And they do work really well for that. Plus they just seem a lot stronger than my regular ones. I have very little fear of something breaking lose while working out when using these. I am sure they are great for mountain climbing too!

Locked, and Loaded
We've been looking for a set like this for some time now, and we have found exactly what we have been looking for. Excellent quality and finish. Smooth operation gate...what more could you ask for?

Not CE marked or EN12275, but great for everything else
While these Carabiner are certified by UIAA, it's a bit confusing that they are neither CE marked, nor are they marked to EN12275. With that in mind I wouldn't want to trust these for safety critical use, or for climbing. They are 'probably' fine, given that they have UIAA certification, but when you life is relying on them I would rather they were fully conformed to european standards. They are rated to 25Kn (which again, confusingly exceeds EN12275 requirements) in the long axis and 7Kn in the other direction, and 7Kn when open, and are marked with a circled H for belaying. So, given I'm not going to entirely trust these to hang off a cliff with, what else? Well, they're nicely made with a spring lock that is smooth and can easily be operated with one hand, and the finish is smooth. The gate closes with a reassuring snap, and if nothing else they certainly look the part with their bright red anodising.Carabiners are useful for all sorts of things in the home and when camping, so although I'm not comfortable using these to keep me safe I'm still pretty pleased with them They are far, far better than the cheap ones you'll find in 'outdoor' stores and will last pretty much for ever if you're not climbing with them. They are certainly strong enough for pretty much anything you're going to throw at them in every day life.If you found this review helpful I'd love it if you let me know by clicking the button below.

Not as crazily red as the product photo suggests
Favofit supply these three identical carabiners in a compact and simple cardboard box. Inside the box each carabiner is contained within its own unsealed plastic bag which helps avoid any impacts during transit. These are 25KN carabiners and appear to have the required set of markings arrayed on either side of the upright of the D - the maker's name, the name of the certificating body - UIAA, the strength at 25KN, etc.Favofit do appear on the UIAA website, and in looking into these particular carabiners I learned this about them: founded in 1932, the UIAA is the international federation for climbing and mountaineering. The International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation (UIAA) was founded in 1932 and has a global presence on six continents representing 89 member associations and federations in 66 countries. The UIAA has been recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) since 1995. So, it would seem reasonable to trust the quality of this product. These carabiners have a D shape that is intended to keep the ropes that are looped into them at rest away from the sprung opening. The Asymmetric shape transfers the majority of the load onto the spine which is the carabiner's strongest axis. The screw gate is slightly different to other carabiners that I've used - at rest it is locked shut, you give it a half twist which is resisted by an internal spring, which allows the gate to come open in the normal direction. When you release the twist lock the carabiner springs immediately closed. This is the sort of mechanism that you want to sit there playing with for a few hours so its operation becomes completely natural to you. I wonder whether you would be wise to avoid mixing this design with other carabiners that work in a different way. It's worth mentioning the colour of these carabiners - currently the colour of the photo on Amazon indicates an amazingly bright flat red colour but in fact the red is a more typical anodized red and slightly darker than the picture might lead you to expect. As you'd hope, the quality of construction is consistent and high - this is a nice set of three carabiners.

Seem good and sturdy, has US certification but lacks UK/EU certification
These heavy duty auto locking caribeaners come in a pack of 3, they're very light weight, and look and feel strong. They're rated at 25KN (5620lbs) and 7KN (1573lbs on minor axis or with the lock open). On the face of it, these are great. the locking mechanism works perfectly. Having attached a rope and swinging off a tree branch it certainly could take the weight of an adult using it.I'm no climbing expert, but certainly would not go mountain climbing with something I didn't trust. So I thought I'd dig deeper into the claims.Firstly, the pictures show the black ones being EN12275 certified. The silver ones I received have no marking for EN12275 certification and nor does the packaging. They're "UIAA certified heavy duty with certificate number USA-20-5611... Well anyone can claim that and put up a fake certificate. So I looked up on "theuiaa org" website (internet search), Favofit are not on the list of international companies which bear the UIAA safety label.. However doing a search for "Certified Equipment", fortunately Favofit does appear and that certificate for product number AC43 does appear, so THEIR CERTIFICATE DOES APPEAR GENUINE!I'm not sure of the underlying price at this point, so can't comment on value for money. Given that it does have what appears to be legitimate US certifcation, even though lacking EU/UK approval, I'd say it's reassuring it's at least passed some level of safety certification.

Lightweight, strong, durable, easy to operate.
These 25KN Heavy Duty Carabiners are made entirely from high quality aluminium and feature a D-shaped design that transfers most of the weight load to its lower-major axis. The Carabiners are large in size, although very light weight, yet strong and durable. It amazes me how strong such a light material can be. They come in an array of nice colours such as gold, red, black and chrome/aluminium. The one in which I received were the aluminium and they come in a pack of 3.The Carabiners have an easy automatic twist lock mechanism which clamps in place once you open and let go of the Carabiners spring. There is slight knurling on the lock mechanism which allows for an easier grip, making it also less likely to slip and snap back when opening and closing during one hand operation. The auto-lock feature makes it useful for climbers because it allows the carabiner to snap shut quickly to a harness, or even for other unconventional uses just out of ease of use.The Carabiners are UIAA Certified and are therefore approved by the (International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation) that these Carabiners are authentic in their claims of both safety for purpose and weight bearing capacity of 5620 lbs.Due to the nature of the COVID-19 Lockdown preventing me from going rock climbing, and while i’m not an expert in Rock Climbing, I instead put these Favofit heavy duty Carabiners under some unconventional stress tests to see wether if they could hold the stated weight capacity. This included using them as part of my DIY gym cable pulley system that featured pulling olympic weight plates via a heavy duty chain and also attaching them to a zip tie in the garden and a harness to lift my body weight.Firstly, they are really strong, although I cannot determine if they are fit for purpose for rock climbing due to the nature of the lockdown. While I don’t have the max amount of weight at my disposal, I can confirm that these carabiners were able to stably lift 130KG (286.601 lbs) worth of weight plates on the gym pulley and take my body weight of 79KG (174.165 lbs) on its major axis (the lower region) without showing any signs of collapsing. Thus, it is a good indicator that they hold up to their weight baring claims.Even if your use isn’t for rock climbing - these carabiners come in handy for an array of things such as a clip for a dog collar, hooking up tents, hanging things - you name it. Just search for things to do with a carabiner and let your imagination run wild.I love these and they are worth the money, therefore I would recommend them.

Great quality, lightweight and very strong
Favofit UIAA Certified Rock Climbing Carabiner ClipsNot being a rock climber I haven't really come across this type of carabiner before. But having a few of these will certainly be of use to me for other tasks. The first thing that struck me about these was how light they were in weight. The reason for this is the aircraft grade aluminium used in their construction. Obviously aircraft aluminium not only has to be super lightweight, it also has to be able to stand up to and cope with severe stress. Not only are these super lightweight they are also very strong, they are able to support up to 2kn (kilo Newton) which amounts to a massive 5620 lbs. They are designed to provide maximum strength using the minimum of metal which is to keep them as light as possible. The carabiner has a spring loaded arm with a twist locking mechanism, once locked it can only be opened by turning the spring loaded ring. When opened up and placed over a rope, just release the arm and it will snap shut, locking the carabiner securely. As these are relied upon for safety, there are certain rules that have to be applied, which are: Not to mix with any kind of chemical, Do not clean with water over 40c, Do not drop onto a hard surface from height, Must be stored in a cool ventilated place and Do not use for more than 5 years.I was quite surprised by the quality and strength of these, the build quality is first rate in my opinion. They certainly look up to the job!CONTENTS:3 x Carabiner ClipsIf you you have found my review useful, I would be grateful if you would consider clicking the helpful button below, thank you.

Look great, clean, smooth action and sturdy too
I am normally very wary of buying essential safety equipment from a brand which is unknown to me. In this case, I am somewhat relieved that these carabiner clips have been approved by the International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation but I would feel more relaxed about using them if they had some kind of European safety accreditation. The clips have been tested to 25 kilonewtons so in theory you could use these when rock climbing and not worry about them breaking. However, I have decided to keep these for less essential purposes - attaching equipment to backpacks, attaching hammocks, that sort of thing. They certainly operate smoothly with an easy twistlock that can be operated by one hand. They also look great: colour and vibrancy may not be important to some, but I appreciate having a variety of different coloured locks and clips that I can identify easily.Overall these seem to be very sturdy - two of them are currently supporting my weight in a hammock - but I would feel uneasy using them in cases where you need the most heavy-duty, tested and authorised safety clips.

Light and Very Strong
These climbing carabiners come with The International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation (UIAA) certification, but do not have the CE certification for countries within the European Union. The European standards were based on the UIAA ones though. This may or may not concern you?You get three of this in the pack, each in their own plastic bag and the ones I received were bright gold and quite large, being 10cm at the tallest point and about 6cm at their widest. Being made from aircraft grade aluminium, they are both light and incredibly strong. The weight limit is 25KN and they can support up to 2500kg.They have a simple one-handed, twist open and self-close and lock mechanism, which does make them nice and easy to use. Now, I got these for a reason other than mountaineering/rock-climbing. I use them to help suspend my bike from the rafters in my garage. Not using anywhere near there capacity. I do find that the rope runs very smoothly through them and I have not come across any snagging issues. For me, these work well and I have no worry about the bike coming down.At the time of writing this, I do not have visibility of the price, so cannot comment on value for money. So, I have taken a star of the rating as a result of this.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative and useful.

Well manufactured with a snappy auto-lock.
I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme. Unfortunately at the time of this review these carabiners are listed as "currently unavailable", so I don't know what their asking price is and cannot comment on their value for money.I like these carabiners, they appear well manufactured and have a smooth one-handed auto-locking function that has a good snap to it. They are nicely finished, have no rough edges and the paintwork seems thick enough and consistent. While they are UIAA certified, they don't appear to have any European standard certification which strikes me as odd because similar products on Amazon do. There have been issues in the past with Chinese manufactured products carrying "inaccurate" safety certification so it is always best to do one's research carefully.I'd be happy to belay loads with these, but maybe not trust my life to them. Just my opinion. 4 stars.

Strong holding carabiner.
First of all, these aren’t yellow like the picture - they’re a good colour with some visible silver metal parts. They’re really well made, and presented well, the box states that they are suitable for climbing and that they are made from aircraft metal. They do feel really strong. We have a small climbing wall in our garden and these are fantastic! They are good value for money also, this is one this that really appeals to me. They are really light weight! The spring and twist mechanism on the carabiners is incredibly strong and holds well in place. They are incredibly easy to use and easy to unlock when needed. These will definitely support a heavy load. The Favofit carabiners can be used for an array of uses such as: pets inc. horses, home and garden etc. The multipack is handy and it’s convenient to have multiple available when needed.Good quality, highly recommended.

Climbing-spec carabiners
Carabiners are provided with all kinds of things these days — cameras, music players, even phone cases. They usually come with a warning 'not for climbing', or some such. These ones are the real deal, and when you see them, you see the difference between these and the novelty type. For a start, they are much bigger, and also incredibly light. They also don't just push open. You have to turn the swivel, pull down, and then release. They are provided with instructions on how to use them, and how not to use them.If you've been climbing even once, you'll know the care with which instructors prepare you, and make sure everything is right. But, of course, this is only of any value if the equipment is good. There are lots of heavy load bearing carabiners out there, but these ones are actually rated for climbing. They are tested to 25 thousand Newtons. Good kit.

Tough lightweight carabiniers for backpacking, camping and UIAA certified for climbing activities
These carabiniers by Favofit are well made, nicely designed and are tough and easy to use. They are made of aircraft grade aluminium so are strong yet lightweight with a twistlock fastener that can be operated with one hand. They are rated 25 Kilo-Newton and can withstand over 5620 pounds of force on the major axis and 7 Kilo-Newton, 1573 pounds, on the minor– they are UIAA certified as safe and suitable for climbing activities. They are also perfect for clipping accessories to backpacks when camping or hiking, and can be used with key-chains and even dog leads. If you need a set of three handy carabiniers with many uses then this set by Favofit are well worth considering and get five stars for design and build quality. Unavailable at the time of this review so I can't comment on value-for-money.

Lightweight but strong, very handy
A set of three strong and versatile carabiners. These hold a good amount of weight and have a handing instant locking feature- you allow the arm to snap shut and a collar covers a gap which is needed for the lever arm to bend in, thus locking it closed.I can just about operate this one handed, using my thumb to twist the collar open, but I do find it much easier to use both hands in order to twist and hold the collar clear to open the carabiner. Closing it is a one handed operation as you simply let the lever spring back into place, with the locking collar twisting to lock it instantly. This is lightweight but very strong, it is also great for a million things, like hanging up dog leads, clipping up gardening tools etc etc, if you can think of it, you can use the carabiner for it.

Always handy, in case the urge to climb a mountain should strike.
These clips arrived simply packaged and in perfect condition. The pack includes 3, the same colour and size.I am not a climber etc so am not qualified to comment on how safe these are. However they look and feel well constructed and the fastenings seem very secure.I think carabiner clips are well worth having handy as they can be used for all sorts, i am not being terribly imaginative here (sorry!) but I use mine to make damned sure that my mobile doesn't fall out of my wheelchair when out and about (I clip it to a loop on the inside pocket of my wheelz).Go on, you can think of oodles of uses.Currently no price listed.I hope you find this review helpful, thanks for reading.
