Why do I love this for my iPad?One word: FaceTime!I hated using the iPad and thus hated FaceTime.. it was always making me look stupid because I couldn't put the darn thing in a place where the small picture looked "normal." (I didn't expect the iPad to make be good lookin' , just not like seeing myself in a fun house mirror LOL.I wanted to use my iPad to support my business-life coaching practice. Having to ldea with my feeling stupid because of the way I looked, because i couldn't take notes with the iPad placed in my Logitech keyboard, made it nigh on impossible.Once I bought the iOstand i am able to "see" the client at eye level.With the iOstand I like the way I look "normal" in the small screen.With the iOstand I like that I can take notes with pencil and paper OR use the Logitech keyboard.Now I LOVE to do FaceTime meetings with clients.and, oh yeah, I was able to expense the purchase ;-)and I also use it in the kitchen to read recipes from my Kindle books or from an internet search.I'm looking to discover even more ways to love my iOstand....

I use this to FaceTime my grandchild. It is very sturdy and handy to use. I can change to portrait or landscape view very easily. I do not have to worry about positioning the iPad at all now. My daughter and grandchild no longer see my nose hairs or the light on the ceiling, they see me as they should. I do not get tired of holding my iPad any more.This is also great in the kitchen to hold the iPad properly so I can read recipes but keeping the iPad out of the way and close enough to read.I was concerned about the cost at first but now am very happy I got it. I am very, very pleased with the stand.

This stand is fabulous - if you are through and careful when you mount the iOadapt (the little metal disc which attaches your device to the magnet on the stand). Additional discs and iOskins are readily available, so you can purchase a new device knowing the stand is future-proof, as long as your new device is not too heavy. But the absolute best feature is how very adjustable it is. You can move the red magnet to any angle with no trouble at all.That said, you MUST install the iOadapt disc correctly. Clean the surface, make sure it is non-porous (no leather, silicone, or anything fuzzy), measure using an actual ruler to be sure the disc is in the center of the device, use the iOskin, and apply pressure to the disc when installing. The instructions say to wait an hour before using, but I wait a few more hours just to be sure. And you MUST put the disc in the center of the device - if you don't, it may wobble.Since the case on my iPad is porous, we cut a hole in the back so we could attach the iOadapt to a more appropriate surface. It works great. This stand will support all available iPads with the exception of the 12-inch iPad Pro, but if you have a 9.7 inch iPad you may need to watch how heavy the case is.

I have been looking for a stand for my iPad for some time. I have tried different ones over the last few years but they just didn't work very well - that was until I tried the iOstand. I can use the stand with my iPad in portrait or landscape position. You can tilt it in any direction that you want and if you wanted to wall mount this you can. It is heavy and it would be difficult to tip over. Placing the mounting disk onto your device has to be in the center of your iPad/device is critical and it may take a bit of time to get it centered. The iOstand is the only stand that I would use with my iPad. Please note that height is not adjustable.

These are attractive and they work. Apply a self adhesive metal disk to any device and slap it on the stand - it stays.The magnet on the stand (red item) is very strong and can be moved around on the orb to accommodate any viewing angle. I also have a version of this in my car. They've adapted the magnetic mounting system for ProClip car mounts. It is also effective. I use the system with a phone, a 4x7 tablet and a 6x8 tablet - all work great. I've never encountered any issues with the magnetic field affecting the devices.Pay attention to disk sizes. iOmount is in the process of switching over to a larger diameter disk and magnet. ProClip was selling the smaller version. I purchased a separate larger magnet and disk set from iOmount to correct this. (they may have since resolved this issue). Smaller disks on the larger magnet slide around and don't seat well.

This stand is PERFECT for the cook in kitchen or when having your morning coffee and reading the NY Times. I have had several friends go right home and purchase their own after seeing mine.... Love at first sight.

The best ipad stand ever. We bought a new ipad and repeated our original purchase. No stand tops this one.

Use this item to hold iPad and/or iPhone to display recipes while cooking. Very sturdy and magnet works great.I dislike that it comes with only 2 magnet discs to attach to devices.
