Fantastic tool for using on foils. Ive used it on embossing folder and have great results from it. Very impressed with how it works. Pen nib gets warm but you can hold it like a pen and that part is OK not too hot only the pen nib is very hot. Unplug after its use.

Brilliant and I love it to use it

Had high hopes for this pen but despite going super slow and trying a harder touch versus a lighter touch, it still didn't transfer the gold foil in a solid eligible manner. I tried paper, card and even leather to no avail. It heats up quickly - 5 mins as described - and I even left it for longer to see if that helped but it didn't. I'm a calligrapher so tried a monoline (single) style and then a faux calligraphy style where I attempted to fill the gaps but it was a poor result. Real shame as it was a comfortable pen and nice to write with despite the flaws. The letters and illustrations came out fragmented and inconsistent. :(

I can't believe how well it works. I read so many tutorials on book making and everyone says how hard it is to get foil to stay on leather, but 3 pieces in and this thing has firmly stuck the foil on all the leather. It's very easy to use. Just a few minutes to heat up and then it can press foil into many different things. It's top notch.

Love it for all project. A true gem product to have

Worked like an absolute charm. I read a lot of reviews and saw a lot of videos before buying it. If you use it the right way, you're sure to get amazing results.

Would highly recommend this product. It’s quick to heat up, and is not at all difficult to use and adds a personal touch to notebooks, leather goods as well as cards etc. I have two of these in different sizes and am extremely pleased with my purchase have no hesitation in recommending this product.
