Awesome sight for the money, detailed long write up.
Bought this as I needed to move my EOtech XPS2 to a custom AR platform CQB rifle DPMS custom built me as I have no reflex type sight sponsor it is on my own coin.. the EOtech was perfect for the 10in barreled DPMS custom.. so I wanted a cheap reflex sight for my built up Buck Mark .22 that I LOVE that gun is capable of .30 inch 5 shot groups at 40 yards if the trigger man does his part with Fed gold medal match rounds. Needless to say I did not expect much for 20 bucks... I was wrong with not expecting much.. this sight is NOT an EOtech however WOW for 20 bucks it not only impressed me it blew my mind that something 1/20th the cost of my EOtech is 85% as good (no I wouldn't trust my life to it as I do my EOtechs and it's no where near the quality) but shooting wise it's dang good I print just as good of groups with it as my EOtech at 40 yards being an average of .30 to .35 inch 5 shot groups that's the same as with the EOtech. The glass has more noticeable distortion then the EOtech but it's only mildly noticeable until you use a 3 or 4 power magnifier on it then it becomes very noticeable vs the EOtech.. I have no fired over 30 boxes so 1500+ rounds since I got it about 45 days ago.. it's rock solid and is working fine at that many rounds, the zero is dead on and haven't touched it since I zeroed it in about ten rounds.. so that's over 1500 rounds without having to touch the zero and I didn't use the zero locking screw.. I know I know it's only a .22, I have EOtechs on my two custom built 1911s one in .45 and one in .40 and they will stay as they are both my full size pistols that I C/carry some times but mostly use for race gun type shooting but when I do CC one of them I wouldn't trust my life to any other holo style sight other then EOtech, Leupold or Burris.. but I have also bought a 2nd one and put it on rock island 1911 .45 that is a light weight pistol and kicks like a tank with hot and heavy hand loads and it has held zero for 400 rounds without a hitch... This sight is rock solid reliable so far and for the money it's unbelievably good.. the size of it isn't that big but wouldn't make for a comfortable CC sight given the tiny EOtechs aren't super comfortable neither they are much more comfortable then these but these aren't really designed for that so can't take nothing away for that issue... My fav for CC right now is very tiny and almost flush mounting Leupold reflex sight mounted on a Les Baer full size 1911 .45 and on my Ed Brown 1911 .45 and I really like my Burris to but it's sitting on home defense 12ga. That's really off subject sorry bout that just kinda pointing things out.. this sight is performing as good as the high end sights are.. I shoot the buck Mark a lot and have spent a lot on Holo/reflex sight and wanted to see if the cheap units would be a total joke or are they real world decent and I'm pleased to say yes they are... For target shooting on a small pistol or large semi auto these sights are amazing for the cost I mean totally amazing! I cant trust my life to them using one on a CC weapon or a home defense weapon however they haven't given me a reason not to and I have put a lot of rounds down range in .22 and in a light weigh hard kicking .45 shooting hot and heavy hand loads and it's held up perfect without any zero holding issues on either gun and zero reliability issues. Right now the only issues I see with this sight Is if you are using a magnifier you will have image distortion and parallax issues, I know this as tested it with a DPMS in 5.56 before I put the second one on the .45 I put it on a heavy barreled target DPMS AR. With a 4x EOtech side flip magnifier the parallax correction is BAD, they did correct it decently and it's ok for shooting with no magnification but when you add 4x it becomes severe at anything closer then 150 yards and doesn't correct it's self completely until about 190 yards... Next issue at 4x is the mildly noticeable image distortion at no mag becomes pretty bad at 4x.. it won't be as noticeable with low end side flip magnifiers as they aren't super crisp and clear them selves but on a high end magnifier the distortion is really severe, enough so that it degrades the optics to the point of disbelief. However most people will not pair a 400 dollar magnifier with a 20.00 reflex sight, just letting you know just in case.. over all what you get for 20 bucks is mind blowingly great... It's amazing that this sight is as good, accurate, holds zero and is reliable as it is for 20 dollars.. this sight would likely serve as a great CC sight other then size.. I prefer reflex sights for CC a lot of people don't and won't use them for it , I however love them with a grip mounted pressure switch they are imho far better then anything else for CC.. this one lacks the grip switch and that kills it for CC but it is amazing for what it is and what it costs... Any budget weapons I need a reflex sight for that will not be a weapon that could mean life or death will wear one of these sights.. I'm buying 6 more right now..

This is a great reflex for the price, perfect for a 10/22 and a SW22 Victory.
I put this on a Ruger 10/22. No problems mounting it. I ruff sighted it in at home then took it to the range to fine tune the sighting. The only issue I had was the markings on the elevation and wind-age screws seem to be backwards and when you lock it down it would move slightly. You have to remember to lock the sight down to hold settings and unlock it to make adjustments. If you don't lock it down after each adjustment it will move around from the recoil. Be sure and read the paper that comes with it. The Reticles are clean and crisp as long as you don't turn them up too bright. I put about 300 rounds through the rifle after zeroing and it did not move. I like the sight very much and highly recommend it. You can't beat it for the price ($17.40). I think some of the bad reviews are from not following the directions or getting a defective one. For the price I would not expect it to handle the recoil of a 12ga or a S&W 500.I bought a second one for my S&W SW22 Victory and it works great. Had it sited in at 25yards by three magazines. Works just as well as the first one. I am very pleased with both.

Absolutely Worth The Price
I want to break down this review into a few different categories based on the conditions it is used and the overall build of the product. My setup is as follows: DPMS Oracle AR-15, using .223 Federal ammunition.Night Time Use:This optic has a red and a green target setting. There are four different types of reticles within those two colors. At night, on the lowest setting (there are 5 intensity settings), the lowest brightness is perfectly bright enough to engage targets in dark conditions. With a weapon light in use, the #3 brightness setting works well to engage targets.Day Time Use:During daytime shooting, the reticle is very difficult to pick up unless it is turned up to the highest (#5) setting, and even then, the green reticles work best for target acquisition. While I was using this optic in the desert at 9:00am with the sun at my back, I had to use the green reticle on highest intensity for transitioning from target to target. The red reticle was capable while shooting stationary, but my eyesight was 20/15 as of last year and I worry that someone that has less than perfect vision may struggle to pick up the reticles especially while transitioning.Zeroing:I was able to zero this optic in using a laser bore sight and aligning the aim points at 25 yards. When taken out to the range, it proved itself to be accurate and was putting rounds into the 10 ring at 25 yards, -1" at 10 yards and -2" at 5 yards. To me, that is within the parameters i would expect to see out of any optic.Build Quality:The aluminum housing and plastic parts that make up this optic are not the highest quality. It is not constructed with high grade aluminum, the internal mechanisms are not built to withstand high shock impacts, and the lens is not made with same quality glass as an Aimpoint or EOTech optic. That being said, I have mine mounted on an AR-15 and have put 100 rounds though it so far, with no movement of the reticle, the glass, or the optic itself. This will not withstand the rigors of duty use or contractor work, but for a range or home defense rifle setup, it works perfectly well.Cost Analysis:This product is completely worth the price of the unit. I would say it performs much better than expected and in my own opinion, would be worth twice the cost if it continues to perform as it has so far. I would recommend this sight for anyone looking for a budget optic that does not require heavy duty or rugged use.

I give it 5 stars so far based on the build quality. It is all metal and everything functions properly. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but since it's going on a 22 I don't think there will be problemsUpdate to my review.I have used this sight now several times and maybe 500 rounds of 22lr. The sight gets banged around quite a bit but holds a zero perfect at 50 yards. I would recommend this sight.

Looks good!
Took a while to arrive but it was exactly what I ordered. Full metal design, easily accessible switch for all function. Seems pretty sturdy too. Quite impressed.

Do NOT purchase. Very poorly fabricated. After zeroing sight for windage & elevation, as soon as the adjustment locking- screw is implemented, it's action causes both the windage & elevation to be pulled off it's former adjustments. causing it to be way out of adjustment for "0" .This action makes the sight UN-Adjistable, & therefor NOT usable. After 4 hours, wastedf time & amo., I have given up with this product.
