But I will get these a try after reading reviews. I am so glad I tried them they clean brilliantly I would definitely buy again

I brought this product based upon the reviews read. I will never purchase again. They didn't not clean the dishes well and left a horrid residue on glasses. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Not a great clean. Would not buy. Best to get more expensive and well known name.

Amazon Review 2023.10.08 - Sun Professional Classic Pro Formula Dishwasher TabletsReceived 18 July 2023I have recently been testing seven different dishwasher detergents.Of the seven this, in terms of cleaning performance in the Eco Mode dishwasher setting, is joint best along with Miele powder and the new Finish Quantum Plus product.If we make an assessment based on product weight then this detergent is the best.I made some handwritten notes documenting the results of my testing and I have attached a copy of my notes to this review.Before I go on to bullet-point my findings, I would like to make a few comments about complaints others have made.I have seen complaints about residue being left on items and not cleaning well. This is most likely as a result of user error.Firstly, no matter what any manufacturer may claim, you still should use some salt and rinse aid with 3-in-1 tablets. It's simple logic. The dishwasher dispenses rinse aid at a set time during the wash cycle. A tablet does not have a mind of its own so how is the tablet going to dispense it's rinse aid component at the correct time?! Secondly, after the first rinse, nearly all of the rinse aid within a 3-in-1 tablet is going to be washed away down the drain, whereas a dishwasher is designed to dispense rinse aid during the last rinse cycle.As for salt, that within 3-in-1 tablets will keep the wash solution 'soft' but it will do nothing for the water as it is coming into the machine before it arrives at the bottom of the dishwasher cavity to mixed with detergent. Again, like rinse aid, dishwashers are designed to use salt at a set time during the wash cycle. And in the case of dishwasher salt, additionally the dishwasher wants to do its job at a set location within the machine (at the resin holder that the user cannot see unless they dismantle the machine).I say all that (basic stuff really, for those who know how a dishwasher works) to say this: if because this Sun Professional Classic Tablet is seen as a tablet and therefore users are mistakenly not using any salt or rinse aid because they are treating these tablets as if they are the same as 3-in-1, they are in effect making a less than desirable habit (no salt, no rinse aid) much worse because these Sun Professional tablets are classic tablets that are simply compressed detergent without any other fancy ingredients (e.g. rinse agents, salts, shine additives etc).The next error that some people make with tablets is to use them with wash cycles that are too short. Many well written dishwasher user manuals will clearly advise users not to use tablets on short cycles as they often don't work that well (not dissolving entirely early enough in the short cycle so as to have sufficient time to clean thoroughly and therefore they'd hang around during the rinse cycle and then leave a residue).So, with that intro out of the way, here's the notes:¥ At the current Amazon price the cost per tablet is just 10p.This product being a professional product is usually sold through catering supplies companies and therefore it normally costs around three times as much (a rip-off in my view)¥ Each tablet is about 9.5g in weight¥ These tablets are more concentrated¥ They are claimed to be effective even in 30 minute dishwasher programmes (but see my earlier comments)¥ They are claimed to work well at low temperature. I have seen two different temperatures quoted, 55 degrees and on their website it states 45 degrees. It is to be noted that Finish Platinum Plus (a newly released product, which I have tested and think is excellent) was product tested by the manufacturer at 50 degrees.¥ Of the seven detergents I recently tested, this was by far the lightest dose. The next lightightes dose was for Miele detergent powder followed by the new Finish Platinum Plus product at around 14 grams.¥ Tablets are individually wrapped with removable wrap. So each tablet is far more resistant to moisture damage during storage compared with the tablets encased in the common PVA film.¥ There's no indication that the wraps can be recycled but they don't appear to me to be because they appear to be a plastic material¥ The box that the tablets come in is recyclable as it it's made of cardboard¥ The contents of the box smells pleasant without being too strong.¥ I conducted many tests and have supplied my hand written notes for you to review. However, in my last test I had this to say about this product:RESULT: Surprising!!Such a small tablet and everything came out clean. Given the amount of muck that I presented it with I am particularly impressed that it managed to clean the crusty baking dish.I don't think the result was as pristine/shiny/glowing as what I got from Finish Ultimate Plus (but I will have to check that) but the Finish product is over 40% greater in weight and includes a rinse agent.The fact that such a small tablet cleaned so well is very impressive and surprising.# Final Comments #This product can be purchased as a powder also (but at a crazy price). I think a powder is better as it dissolves quicker and it enables you to have more control over dosage as well as enabling you to add a small amount of detergent for the Pre-wash cycle (you could I guess experiment by breaking a tablet in half to be used for the prewash and see whether it dissolves in good times).I like that each tablet is well protected by the individual wrapper against moisture damage but I am not at all pleased that the wrappers don't appear to be recyclable.The price of the product here on Amazon is excellent. It's just a shame that the full range of Sun Professional detergents aren't available here.If I was judging this entirely based on its effectiveness as a detergent I would award five stars.However, judging the product as a whole I have to drop a star and award four stars because of my concern about the environmental impact of the individual wrappers.

Works well on baked on food. Great price. Very happy with product.

Washes dishes etc well in dishwasher. Dissolves and leaves no residue

Disappointed with tablets did not clean very well. Left rings of tea and coffee stains in cups and made glasses look dull. Tried using two tablets but no improvement.
