Very easy to install the transmitter outside. The kit includes two screws or a command strip. After a quick install, we plugged in the receiver and we were good to go. It works great even in frigid temperatures. The receiver has a lot of chime options, including tour typical door bell sounds.

When I ordered the item it was to be delivered the next day however received notification that it would be delivered the following day, which was OK. The description indicated that it had a CR 2032 battery. That is one of the reasons I purchased the doorbell. However when the doorbell arrived it had one 23A 12V battery. Locally to buy these batteries they are expensive , of course Amazon sells them really cheap. The description needs to be corrected. Installation was easy. Plug in the receiver and pair the transmitter. The hardest thing was to pick the ring-tone. Too many choices.

Unfortunately this did not work very well. I tried to switch the sound but it would not stay no matter how many times I tried or videos I watched online. It would only do the default sound. The battery that came in it died very fast and when I replaced it, for some reason I got a ghost in the machine. Every once in awhile the doorbell just goes off for no reason. I had to unplug it and now we don't use it I had to remove it. It's not useful at all.

Got this item for my apartment ( so not exposed to any elements) on May 27th and its now August 6th and does not work!! It worked well when it did work! Of course the return window is closed! And I now have a worthless piece of junk!

I couldn’t figure out how to program the bell, so I had to ask my husband for help. After a few tries, we figured it out together. I use this in my classroom to get my students attention. It’s great.

Love the doorbell. I use it in my classroom. The sound is loud and clear. It was tricky trying to adjust the volume because the bell would just keep ringing nonstop.

Underrated purchase, works great...no issues...reasonably priced, nice setup...I like it. Mine base is located close to button, have had 0.0 issues.

This product replaces a solar powered doorbell purchase which only lasted 1 year. It's perfect, simple sound, and very easy to install. It is exactly what I needed. Thanks.
