Plus-Sized Elf Vol. 5

With the subplot of the taking a backseat with volume 5 of Plus Sized Elf, it's up to the comedy to carry the volume. And for the most part it delivered, though not every joke stuck the landing. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed and have mostly positive thoughts on the volume. But it feels like the series might be heading to a crossroads of whether it can remain fresh or not. It's reached a length that most other series similar to it tend to fizzle out, but I have a good feeling Plus Sized Elf will rise to the occasion.But all that being said the karaoke chapters are a personal highlight. Not only did it have me laughing but it also managed to surprise me with an unexpected twist. It's always interesting to classic demi human inspirations coming to play a part. Actual diet and exercise tips, cute characters and very funny. Great for anyone interested in weight loss or if you’re looking for something with lots of fan service

I noticed this one manga keeps trying to develop their character beyond the mindless heads-over-heels mindset most harem titles fall into. It's actually entertaining to see the some of the characters worrying over other things, which pretty much begins to define the plot from most episodes.

Another great set of stories from the phat fantasy gals and their human dietary specialist. Five more words...hmm look out!

When I got the book, I was incredibly infuriated that it was damaged, resulting in an indent on the back. Not only that but no protective wrap.The book itself is good, if you head into this already knowing or reading the previous volumes/chapters you’ll love it.
