I’m a full time female wheelchair user and suffer with poor circulation leading to swollen feet and ankles as well as cold skin. Due to having a spinal cord injury I require 2 sizes larger to avoid pressure sores. I bought the size 8. I was not disappointed. The over appearance is modern and stylish. They are fir lined with a man made fibre and have a faux suede material on the outer side. My feet feel warm to handle and of a good colour yet not over heated after wearing all day. To be honest they represent stunning value for money and I’ve just purchased a second pair in navy. I’m wearing them in the winter and using them both indoors and outdoors. The large Velcro strap makes it easy for putting on and taking off and can be adjusted to suit your requirements. I tend to wear them loose. So - mixed results here.Fit - I deliberately ordered a size and a half over my size, so that I can wear thick socks in it.HoweverShape of shoe - it has tapered rather than square toes. The resulting fit is that with ordinary socks it is a bit tight on my toes and sloppy at my heel. So if you usually wear square toed shoes, this may not be for you.Orhopaedic - not noticeably so other than maybe a hint of a rise at the instep. For slippers, the soles are thick and solid - a bit hard. I was expecting cushioning.I've noticed people saying that seams rub. Well, with socks on and a loose fit is OK. However, the way it is constructed is that the whip stitch you see running down the front of the shoe goes the whole way through - so in bare feet you could get rubbed by the stitching. Also there is a bit of rough stitching at the heel. I mostly use these for sitting in, don't do much walking around in them.

Quite a comfortable slipper boot. Velcro fastening. Still being worn well and hold their shape.
