Not sure if it were its treatment in transit during the holidays... but my unit is really hard to fold and unfold; too much friction between the handle and the comb, may've been crushed under something for a while perhaps. Will see if a few times using it will correct the problem but it's defo not possible to unfold one-handed, and the creaking sound it makes when using two, is worrying if it this doesn't self-correct. Otherwise, a nice product -- the plastic comb has 0 burrs or flashing to catch hair, and handle is finished likewise. Only nitpick is the brass rivet used at the pivot seems undersized, but only long-term use will reveal if it actually is. Even the silk-screened logo is very nice and a cut above the typical PRC-based nonsense-name stuff sold in the marketplace. As I have rather coarse beard hair, the teeth of the comb are also spaced perfectly for me. Would buy again; four stars (potentially five when used a bit longer, re: friction issue) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ _ --- UPDATE 28 FEB 25: Have used the Zeus everyday since it arrived -- no durability issues with the rivet, and the handle has broken in a bit and now slides open and shut w/o problems. Purchased another. Since these are handmade, there's a tiny bit of variation in certain dimensions (new comb is slightly less tapered than the first one, and finger notch a bit smaller; location of rivet is slightly different in both where the 'spine' of the comb protrudes above the handle on 1st one and not at all on the new) but functionally they are identical. Perhaps if this were German or Japanese I'd expect tighter mfg tolerances, but for what it is, how it works and what it costs? It's fine. Happy to support an American small mfr, the K11's a keeper. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love the compact, foldable size. I purchased two... Others have commented on the comb being difficult to unfold. One of the combs I received worked smooth as silk right out of the package. No trouble at all unfolding. The second comb was, indeed, VERY tight... Took a lot of effort and strain on my fingernails to start unfolding and plenty of force to unfold completely. The hinge was obviously too tight - plastic was rubbing, hard. I spent a lot of time using the difficult comb as a kind of fidget device - folding, unfolding, folding, unfolding, folding, unfolding - over the course of a couple days. It's finally worn in enough that it's not too difficult to use. Still, the first comb works very well, very smooth, unlike the second comb. Fine product, but inconsistent final assembly. I might expect more consistency from a ten-dollar piece of plastic.

Pictures make it seem unreasonably small. It is small, but when you use it you realize that it's plenty big enough to get the job done (thatswhatshesaid). My complaint is that it is difficult to open, and every way that you need to hold it tighter so that you can open it makes it even harder to open. It's not a material that you can just force apart so that it's not as tight (maybe with heat you could, but I'm just not that dedicated)... it is plastic that retains it's shape. I've been opening and closing it like a fidget toy for a while, and it hasn't gotten any easier. Is it okay for the price? Sure. Is it one of those first-world problems that will just annoy me because it should have been designed better? ABSOLUTELY. I'll use it for a while, but if I had to do it over I would just find a less annoying solution. If anything changes, I will update this review.

I’ve tried multiple mustache combs and this is simply the best and most ergonomic I’ve found. The comb shape allows one to approach and style their mustache from almost any angle. Particularly handy while getting your handlebar trained. Teeth are perfect size and spacing. Folds up neatly and fits perfectly in that little front jeans pocket. Seems rather durable when folded. The handle allows one with large hands decent purchase. When it’s time to add mustache styling gear to your EDC, this is the one!

Very very good product. Not disappointed in any way. Perfect for my tash. Just what I was looking for.

Great little comb! Closes tightly, so a bit hard to reopen, but if you are careful not to squeeze all the way shut, works like a charm! My husband loves it and uses it often. Also ordered a wood comb, but ended up being too big to carry around in pockets, so it only gets used at home.

Very nice comb that folds and can easily be carried in your pocket. Size reference in picture with BIC lighter. Fits snug when folded and if you have trouble opening it, push up on the tip of the comb that sticks out at the end of the handle rather than try to pull it from the notch by the rivet as it is much easier. Works good for parting and combing the moustache as well as the beard.

Comb feels alright but mine arrived with several scratches and a dent on the handle. Expected better for the price paid.
