Covers all the stuff that might happen in your life between the ages of 8-12 in a no-nonsense and humorous way.It has a comforting and reassuring tone and doesn't talk down to girls. I particularly liked the reassuring stuff about bodies and how it's normal to be different sizes and shapes. I really wish this book had been around when I was a kid.Recommended.

Bought this for my nearly 9 year old daughter for us to read together as it had been recommended to me.It’s a good book with good explations on lots of topics. I thought it would explain what a period was in Kaz Cooke’s funny & informative style, but the book expects the reader to have a little knowledge on that subject already - which was a tad annoying.Otherwise it’s great & pitches at the right level. My daughter is now reading by herself.

This book is so easy to read, my 9 year old daughter loves it, is learning from it and is open to asking questions. Best ever book and highly recommend. I have purchased 2 more for friend's daughters.
