defective disk brake and tire
The media could not be loaded. I fractured my heel in three places along with smashing the top of it severely iv'e had reconstructive surgery with plates installed and will be non weight baring for six to eight months. i purchased this to replace an old model a friend had.thought it looked good and along with the fold ability figured this would be a great option especially with an upcoming trip i had already paid for and would be boarding a plane i'm officiating my sisters wedding so it's not like i could cancel.prosthe quality of the main base construction seems very solid even in the middle where it folds the seat however hard has two sections one for scooting and one to be able to stand sideways which would be great while trying to cook anything or wash up after.it does fold easily and can be folded very quicklythe consthe handle bars are very wiggly not only at the top where they fold into the support base but where the support folds itself making it for a very unsteady ridethe bag that comes with it is only held by two velcro straps it has a place on the top strap to secure on a metal clip to the front of the scooter however it is not large enough to go on the clipand finally this may have been a defective unit but the right rear tire and disk are both warped and rub against the brakecausing the rear tires to lock up and make a awful sound all other times tried to adjust the whole thing to make it work right but the warp is to bad and i would have to buy other parts just to get it to work not something you want to do when purchasing a brand new one i received it yesterday and will be returning todaythere were also some large chips in the paintdesign is good but need to work on the overall construction for safety.

Poor handle and shaft design
This was the second scooter I purchased to help my daughter following foot surgery. The first was a very simple, inexpensive model that did the job but was a bit difficult to transport. I decided to keep the first one upstairs and buy a new one for downstairs and outside trips. For this Health Line unit, I liked the larger wheels and the brake system was quite a bit better than the first scooter I bought. The main frame is also well supported and is hinged so it can fold in half for travel. This issue I have is with the handles and handle shaft. The handle shaft is pressure locked only and does not include a safety pin. The shaft can loosen easily and can slide down abruptly. The is also no stop so if the rider tries to pull the shaft back up, it can come out completely. This happened and caused my daughter to fall. The other design issue id the folding handle grips. Great idea if they worked. The handles fold down and are locked in place by sliding a sleeve over hinge connecting the handle to the shaft. The sleeve however does not slide freely leading you to think the lock is in place when it is not. If not properly secured, the handles can fold down abruptly. I had to use a vise grip and a hammer to force the sleeve to cover the hinge. The paint is pretty thin and this damaged the finish on the handle. Finally, the handle hinge is attached to the handle with a pin. One of the pins sheared off while in use, nearly resulting in another fall. I had to replace the pin with a nut and bolt I had in the garage. Although I liked to look, main frame hinge and brake system, I cannot recommend this unit until the manufacturer redesigns the handle assembly and adds a shaft locking mechanism. These issues caused my daughter to fall once with two additional two near misses. She was not injured but not what you want to see when she is recovering from surgery.

Product is fine. Amazon service, not so much.
The product isn’t bad. The locking mechanism for the handlebar height is poor, and it slides down with the least bit of pressure, but I think I can adjust that tension when I can reach my tool box. The rest of the adjustments were easy. The brakes are decent. My only major issue was an Amazon issue, and a particular customer service supervisor in an Indian call center, but eventually my issues were resolved.

The comfortability of the person riding the scooter!
What I liked about the scooter is that it had 10" pneumatic tires that would roll over gravel and bumps with ease, without causing much pain to my foot. What I disliked about the scooter is that the seat had way too much cushion to where I sunk in while I was on it, the seat also twisted as I was using scooter. The steering was just too temperamental, if turned a little to sharp you will be sure to topple over. The reason I'm on a scooter is because I have a rare syndrome in my foot and ankle called CRPS due to a surgery I had over a year and a half ago and let me tell you it's not fun being on scooters, but that's what I have to do the rest of my life now!

Very good quality
Very good quality just make sure to check your bolts here and there I did have a couple back out on me other than that very impressive on the quality... I've had many surgery's on my feet and by far this knee scooter has been the best one I've used wish it came with off road tires for better mobility but still very great scooter would recommend to everyone

Beats crutches!
This saved my life! Had two foot surgeries within a month apart. Was non weight bearing for a month and would have been on crutches for almost 5-6 months total.I’m in my mid fifties and I can tell you, crutches are no longer an option. Something happens to your balance as you get older.I used to be able to handle them easily, on my twenties. I had several arthroscopic knee surgeries then.I highly recommend this scooter. It allowed me to get back to work after just a few weeks. My surgery was on the left foot so it didn’t impair my driving efforts.Don’t hesitate to purchase this scooter. It pays for itself the first week!
