SNG Air Bed Rechargeable Pump (Fits SNG-54Q, SNG-47T and SNG-54F Model air beds)

This pump was purchased as a replacement for an Eddie Bauer Airbed pump. The pump was an exact fix and works as expected. IT charges and will inflate and deflate your mattress if it is compatible in short order. My only issue with this pump is that it is very stiff and hard to turn, possibly it will become easier as I use it more often. Outside of that small issue I can verify that it does work for several Eddie Bauer inflatable mattersses as a direct replacement.

As with some of the other reviewers, I had an old Eddie Bauer air mattress with an identical pump, but the pump could no longer hold a charge. I ordered this replacement in the hopes of being able to use the air bed for a while longer. Like a couple reviews mention, it looked like anexact match but turned out to be a super tight fit. (The first time I used it I needed a giant wrench to spin the thing, but it did work. I got curious about what was different, so I got out some tools to compare the new one with the old.It turned out that the body of the new pump was the exact same size as the old pump, but the selector knobs were more than twice as tall. Shaving them down to half their height with a Dremel was the work of a minute, and now it fits perfectly - just as smooth to insert and turn as the original.Also, I had read somewhere in the listing that it didn't come with a power adapter, but mine certainly did. It was a complete replacement product that just needed one tiny modification and worked perfectly.The first one SimplyGlobo sent vanished into the Post Office with tracking that claimed to have never been picked up at the origin, but when I contacted them they immediately sent another. Excellent, responsive service, and the product works great. I hope they recover the first one from the USPS.

I have the Eddie Bauer pump, and a nice air mattress. It sits in the closet for years until we have a need for it. I took it out, charged the pump, and followed the instructions for inserting the pump into the port. The pump is so tight I can't get it back out again. I was able to turn the pump as instructed to turn the pump on, but air was coming out of the deflate valve, so I wondered if I had it in backwards. However, calling Eddie Bauer, they could offer no assistance, and said the bed/pump combo is so old now they don't have it in their system. This bed is only 3 or 4 years old, so I hate the thought of throwing it away. They offered a discount on a new bed. Honestly, I don't think it is unusual to have an air bed stored for years with only occasional use, so replacing it after 3 or 4 years seems unnecessary. If anyone else can offer suggestions for how to remove the pump, now that it is embedded in the port, I appreciate any help. EB doesn't make this bed any longer, and this rechargeable pump is exactly the same as the model original from EB. The device is extremely hard to turn and has to be turned to inflate once it is engaged in the port. There are no instructions on removing the pump from the port. I may have to destroy the pump to remove it from the bed, and order this pump to replace the one I damage removing it from the perfectly good bed.
