It's a little tricky to install you have to literally go under the outside of the rail. Not into the little slots of the seat rail go UNDER the rail and you'll feel it lock in place. Once that's locked the whole thing feels great.

This armrest was easier to install than putting in a lightbulb.It seems to be well made. It fits nicely.If you wish your Scion XD had an armrest this is the part to buy.

Very sturdy. Fairly easy to install. Being a factory add on it matches perfectly. Unlike others you still have a cup holder

Item I received didn’t have the wire mounting hardware included at all. Completely useless and I had to return immediately for a refund.

It was a bit pricey for the material it is made from but for my car it is perfect. I would buy it again. Took a little doing to install it properly but once we figured that it we were good to go. I have a manual transmission and was worried that it would interfere with my ability to shift. it doesn't. It is the perfect height for my elbo to rest on. Now that I have it, I can't imagine going without it.

For $90 this oem armrest is insanely overpriced. I really wish there were more aftermarket options. For one, its just too small, at least if you want both driver and passenger to be able to use it. Installation was kind of a pain in the ass as well. I'm not even sure if its compatible with my 2012 xd even though it says it is. I got it to work, but it doesn't look the same as on the pictures in the manual (pictures are really hard to interpret in my opinion). Its just a small cheap plastic armrest, should be $50 max.

Factory piece that fits as it should. A much better deal than direct from the dealer.

Fairly easy to indtall once you figure out the underseat wire/holder. The material matches very well with the original Scion interior, and the fit is perfect.
