The unit works with our dogs well.i put an adaptor on one , so I wouldn't have to change the battery.

My dogs don't mind very well...but the product startled them when they started barking and they stopped. I tried to always give a command at the same time they would get a correction from the training product (Bark 0ff). It seemed to initially help...maybe I need to check the batteries again!

I was so excited to use these as I had just moved into my new apartment in the city and my 85 lb lab puppy found the need to bark insanely at any and every sound he heard in the hallway, out the window, no matter what it was he'd bark! I didn't want my neighbors to hate me so after reading a million reviews on this thing I gave it a shot. Confident it would do the trick I set them up in the 2 main areas of my apartment that my dog spent the most time. Whenever he'd start to bark I'd turn them on. They didn't phase him one bit! He just kept barking. So frustrating. Any how, I put them on a shelf with intentions of returning them and never got around to it. Hopefully it's not too late? Fortunately, my dog had adjusted to the busy/noisy city life and has been more considerate of when to bark and when not to and my neighbors don't hate me! .... at least I don't think? Anyway, my experience has proved these things aren't for every dog. Take your chances!

These did not work...my dog barks more. We bought this and another type. Neither worked. Our vet says not all dogs stop barking with these and in some cases the instrument tends to annoy the animal. I guess we just have to stop barking through training....but being a Jack Russell...she is stubborn.

Received two units, one of which doesn't work. The one that does work is overly sensitive and turns on with just normal talking. So we don't use it at all.

I live in an apartment house and it's a handy little device for when we have to leave. We come home to a quiet apartment and he is usually just chillin on the sofa.

I was very unsatisfied with this product they did not even work they did not make that high pitch sound. I previously had the white version that work great had it for a couple of years until it did not work. I thought I was getting a deal with the two, but has they say looks and prices are not always the best will not purchase this item again good thing it didn't burn a hole in the pocket just took it has a lost and toss them out were they needed to be in the garbage kept the new batteries thoe!
