I bought this whistle to attach to my PFD for kayaking. Bought a Fox whistle that didn't work at all. Decided to try this one. My dogs ran from the room. It's LOUD. As with most (all?) whistles without a ball, you have to put your lungs behind it. But when you do, you will deafen your neighbors. And yourself. You WILL be heard. It comes with a nice long lanyard. I attached that to another lanyard inside my PFD pocket. nice long reach so I don't have to blow on a whistle clipped in my armpit or shoulder strap or someplace else awkward and unreachable when you really need it. It's titanium, so I expect it will outlive humankind. If I lose it or something, I will definitely buy another.

I have a wearable (around the neck) “”firestarter” that I attached this to, and the weight is negligible. I’ve hiked, I’ve ran, and I’ve swam wearing it (Running it clanks a little) but no issues hiking or swimming at all. The Whistle BLOWS, it’s more than audible, the thing is LOUD.

This is a great compact lite weight whistle that I have no doubt will last forever. I have attached it via lanyard to my go bag and it has become a part of my every day life.

Very light but sturdy. One part is plastic inside and that thing is the only one that bothered me. The cord that is given with it is good color but i have this ting on q titanium necklace in my neck all the time but in work (safety first). Thank God i didn't hand to use it in emergency yet but it it always with me. The red cord is not the best if you plan to wear this thing in your neck all the time like me. It is plastic and can give you rashes and cut you when you sleep. Or you take it off... I am very happy that i found it and it is made out of titanium beckause i planned to wear it all the time and with this material it is doable beckause it is antiallergic. Good product.

小さく、軽く、良く鳴ります。 商品写真では、削り出しの一体型に見えましたが 筒と紐通しをポンチでかしめた2ピースでした。 表面仕上げは、ザラザラとした艶消しになっていました。 紐は、切り口が溶かしてあるのでナイロンでしょうか？ 固くて伸びないため、とても丈夫なようです。 あと、白い反射材が編み込んであって ライトで照らすと、とても明るく光り良く目立ちます。

防災用として携帯電話と一緒に出かける時は身につけています。 軽いし錆びないのでいい！
