I'd made a mistake to purchase a 128GB MBP and was always running out of space for my media. I'd been looking into the option of upgrading my SSD to a higher capacity but that's a story for another day. Anyone who's dealt with recent Macs knows that it's more painful than it sounds, and arguably much more expensive.Then comes in this nifty folding device that tucks away to the side and I go on without even knowing that it exists. I can access my files, holiday pictures and what not in a jiffy without having to rely on cloud or go find the external hard disk.The speed may not be SSD quick but I'll take it!

This is a great little USB flash drive. This drive is tiny, but holds a lot at 256 GB. It worked immediately without loading any software or drivers and is very fast. I’m using it to back up lots of old family movies, photos and slides I’ve recently had digitized - and it works perfectly. This drive is really small, attractive, has a loop to add to a keychain, and folds in half to protect the USB plug and keep it free of dirt. It is also supposed to be waterproof, but I have not tested that feature. This drive is a great value.

I bought this to transfer my photos and videos from my old laptop to new one, it workes well, the transfer rate is higher as expected. also my wife likes to take photos a lot so it's a great device to store tons of photos without worrying about to run out of space on the phone. For the price, you can't beat the reliability of the flash drive and it is 3.0 so the transfer rate is awesome. I really liked it.

THIS IS NOT A USB 3.0 DRIVE. Transfer speeds are a paltry 25mb/sec . Not even the 480mb USB 2.0 speed....sad stuff.USB 3.0 is 5GB a second. Very frustrating that this is advertised incorrectly and misleading.SEND EM BACK! Wasted time. Unless I'm missing something....

i thought i got a good buy , tested old school way , it could hold 47 GB of storage , showing it has space showing its able to save , but not actual , amazon should take this off , bad rep

If I could give this zero I would. It is a complete farce. The fact that USB 3.0 is listed gives the impression that the flash drive will perform at reasonable USB 3.0 speeds. As you can see from the Crystal Disk Mark I performed on the drive, it is wholly inadequate and a rip off. Recently I spent twice as much on a name brand drive and it advertised up to 300 MB/s. I tested it through my USB 3.1 hub, and it achieved 284 MB/s read times, and 90 MB/s write times, which is acceptable. This product, in it's blurb on it's buy page didn't say anything about data rate. That is because the company has an extremely tenuous relationship with the truth. Do not waste your money.

Windows states that this item must be formatted before it can be used. However, Windows also states that the drive cannot be formatted. I get the same messages on different computers. I was hoping for a reliable disk at this very reasonable price. I really like the design and quality construction of this drive. I have recently made arrangements to return it for a refund.

Terrible thumb drive. I formatted it and immediately began adding files. It’s soooo slow. And once it claims the files are added, you click the icon and no files show. None. So I reformatted and added them again. Some show, but most don’t. Those that show, I clicked on and they won’t open. Total waste of money.
