Purdy 144608093 Golden Eagle Roller Cover, 9 Inch x 1/2 inch nap

Lasted for the whole job!

Loads and holds paint very well. Rolls fully loaded without leaving marks. Nap stays on roller sleeve very well after multiple uses.

Had a slight bit of loose fiber, but just pre-washed the cover and dried it out. Left a nice stipple and held a decent amount of latex paint.

Great rollers, hold a lot of paint. Good price

These roller covers hold a lot of paint they don't go flat or shed like cheaper brands 👍👍

These are not the 4-1/2" covers as listed. They are the 6" with the plastic cap on the end. The plastic cap limits there use greatly.Had they been the 4-1/2" covers, I would have bought 10 more of these by now.

Best roller if using on very rough surfaces. I used on rough sawn pine barn siding.

I use the golden eagle for "all paints" even though it's rated only for flat and satin (I think) though I do tend to back brush everything anyway. They're pretty good. Depending on the job, Purdy rollers aren't a great investment. Wooster from the home store will spread paint just as well. I stopped cleaning rollers. It's too time and water consuming to save $6. Regardless, these golden eagle won't stand up to a proper cleaning anyway.
