Wise Advice for those new to Worm Raising
Anyone who is thinking about raising some earthworms either as a commercial venture or as a hobby to produce worms for fishing, composting or poultry feeding needs, should consider purchasing this little book.It is a part of the old Shields Earthworm Library. First written in 1957, it was revised in 1975. It has a great deal of information on such topics as building worm bins and pits, and the sort of bedding needed for the different types of worms. There are also sections on raising other forms of live bait such as crickets and mealworms. I found the mealworm section handy when building my first mealworm bin. There are also practical labor-saving methods such as building a worm trap for your pits, to collect the full-sized breeder/bait worms in large numbers easily. Most importantly, it tells how to start small in worm raising, with a small budget, and grow into a larger operation. Very useful for potential worm farmers who don't have the money to start out with large expenditures. This has been a very useful book to me and I'm very glad I purchased it.

Worm Growing Business
My husband wanted to look into growing worms as a business so we bought this book. It's informative, but not as comprehensive as we wanted. Still, it was helpful.

This is a very basic book, but has some good tips in it. It would help a beginner. Price was modest, so I recommend.

This book has some interesting information, but not alot. Some pictures would be nice to. I really like The Worms Eat My Garbage, that's a good book.

It's a small book but full of info. It's hard to find info on nightcrawlers and this was helpful in getting started..
