Better than barefoot except in the woods, they slide on leaves, pine needles and such. I wear them all the time when I am in too much of a hurry to wear real shoes. Great for a quick trip outside, to the store, on vacation. Wouldn't be my first choice for mowing or around power tools and construction sites, not much good for mountain climbing or snowy days but on a hot day they keep your feet off the pavement.Last a long time, the sole will wear out and if you walk on a lot of gravel you will notice. No protection from wet and mud but you will dry.Great for the beach, take them off and stick them in your pocket when you get to the water (cooler wet sand not the blistering hot dry sand between the motel and the ocean) and still pass for shoes in restaurants.Look like leather sort of, don't look like cheap flip flops at any rate. Being old I don't care any more what I look like so I wear them to the grocery store with my bib overalls and beater shirt, rather be cool than look cool.This was not my first purchase of these from Amazon.

I had my original Pali’s for almost 15 years. No wear and tear and could have gotten 15 more. Wore them EVERYDAY after work, during the weekend. Until my puppy ate the tip off of the right shoe. I actually wore them still for almost 3 months; at home, shopping and get togethers, didn’t care what people thought. FINALLY bought a replacement pair. The only difference is knowing they are not my original pair. Here’s to many years to come!! You can’t go wrong with Pali’s!

I first got this in Corpus Christi, TX and then decided this is the sandal for me to walk for extended periods or stand for extended periods. WHY? Because, they were the only shoe where I didn't feel lower back pain after walking a far ways or standing for a long time. They also were comfortable to my feet and looked nice with casual or casual-work. In Texas, you can wear sandals are year long (pretty much) so I wore these much and they lasted 5 years before being worn through. Trust me, I wore them ALL the time! The only thing that can truly take them out is a German Shepherd Puppy (hahaha) but even that wasn't too much damage. (although I would recommend NOT EVER using it as a dog toy...I don't even know why I have to say that but you know now days). I bought another pair and can tell you, they look and feel great! These are a great product!

Great for poolside use, camping, showering in campground bathrooms. Quick on and off and comfy. On the con side: they make squeaky noises.

These are my second pair of jandals, I LOVED my first pair. They lasted 6 years and were quite worn out. These new ones seem great & it’s nice to have more of a cushion on the bottom again. My only complaint is they are a much lighter color than pictured here. I like the darker brown better, so I was a little disappointed. But I think I’ll keep them anyway & try something new.

Second pair because I wore my last pair out. These look great with casual clothing or summer skirts or dresses.

Great basic pare of sandals and perfect summer staple in my wardrobe. Perfect for the pool beach etc. so cute and extremely comfortable and go with all my outfits.
