Thermoskin Sport Shoulder Wrap

There are positives and negatives for this product. The adjustable size made it more helpful for someone like me who has naturally broad shoulders. The neoprene kept my shoulder warmer (a plus for me) but could chafe, so a product like a  BodyGlide Anti-Chafing Stick 2.5oz , which I use kept me from chafing as long as I wasn't so active as to sweat it off. The arm strap may take some getting used to, but you have it figured out in a few attempts as you figure out how tight/loose you want it. It does take some time to hang dry, so washing it is something you might want to do before bed or your shower in the evening. If does inhibit your range of motion, but it is supposed to. I'd recommend it to anyone with rotator cuff problems that they are rehabbing. It also comes in a beige color for those who would prefer that.

I have a labrum tear, and I spent an enormous amount of time and energy with doctors, physical therapy, rest etc. It took me about 4/ 5 months to realize the extent of my injury (first doctor wasnt really a shoulder expert). Only the MRI revealed the SLAP type II lesion. I then looked for a shoulder specialist, who recommended physical therapy and rest. Another doctor who looked at the MRI suggested surgery, otherwise I wouldnt be able to return to my previous activities (yoga, surf, jiu-jitsu). Once I was done with physical therapy (almost 3 months) I tried to return to yoga, but started to feel ever increasing levels of pain. I searched for some kind of shoulder support, and found this shoulder wrap. To my surprise, it was the best thing I did to my shoulder. It basically restricts the speed and range of motion of the shoulder, avoiding excessive movement (it restricts the degrees of freedom of the shoulder, a clever way to avoid stress). Perhaps the straps could be better, they losen up too fast, but then I have been doing yoga and surfing with this thing (underneath a wetsuit). I improvised some "clips" to keep it in place. I was able to return to yoga and surfing, but no jiu-jitsu. Anyhow, it was worth the $50.

I ordered this product for my son who plays baseball and has shoulder pain when throwing. I heard compression offers good support. When he tried this on, there was no compression and no support. DON'T waste your time on this.

The support is comfortable and adjustable, making it easy to wear at all times for light activities. My shoulder was fixed in 3 days.

I ordered this product for my husband, who has been having severe shoulder pain. The support that the wrap provides, enables him to function with less discomfort. The Thermoskin was well worth the cost. Great product!

This sport shoulder support is very useful, my brother has an injury in his shoulder and he uses this support when he practice any sport and he doesn't have any pain after he plays any sport

good product. it gets nice and hot. keeps shoulder loose. one thing dont loose the small adjustable strap. this is not replaceable. you will need to buy whole new wrap...
