I have a daughter with a medical condition in which she produces an extremely large quantity of urine both during the day and the night. During the day it is no problem as she is potty trained, however, at night she produces 32+ oz of liquid. Needless to say, in an attempt to avoid waking up every two hours to change her, (or making her wake up to go to the bathroom) we have tried many, many products for both her and the bed. All of the mattress protector options have either been fitted (which is a problem for a top bunk and require a great deal more work to change than an sit-on-top protector) or so thin that they get crumpled and move around. This often means that they move out from under her and the bed gets wet anyway. Enter "Epica Premium Quality Bed Pads (34" x 52")" I took a gamble because the only picture shows it on a double or queen bed however, as you can see by my photo, this sized mattress pad covers almost to the edges of a twin bed and goes quite far down the bed too. They are a nice, thick, heavyweight material combination so they don't bunch up and manage to stay in place all night. In addition to this, last night my daughters g-tube popped out of her stomach and started pumping liquid onto the mattress protector. It did not leak through to the mattress at all. There are many other mattress protectors that will do the job, but for me, these are the best because of the total ease of changing and the fact that they are so large that not once has one slipped around and moved out of place at night. Obviously, the fact that they are actually waterproof is pretty important, too. ;-) I highly recommend this product!

These pads are excellent. They absorb and are very soft. Great for keeping the bed dry during the night. I highly recommend. It was Delivered in hours and the guy that delivered was great!

We bought the Epica Bed Pads, which are washable, waterproof, and measure 34"x52" (available in a convenient 2-pack). While they are marketed for adults, they have proven to be invaluable during our recent overnight stay with guests who have a toddler. These bed pads are crafted from a high-quality polyester-cotton blend that feels incredibly soft and, most importantly, is completely waterproof. We put them to the test as soon as they arrived by pouring a 10-ounce glass of water on them, and they performed excellently. Using them is a breeze; simply toss them in the washing machine and hang them to dry. I placed one under the fitted sheet; the color allowed for a discreet fit, it did not move during the night, and the parents didn’t even notice it was there. They provided unbeatable protection while adding extra comfort. We were thoroughly impressed with their absorption capacity throughout the night and during our guests' entire stay.

This is a great bed pad for animals. Otherwise, this is a terrible pad for humans. Most of the five stars are submitted by caregivers who purchase the pads for incontinent elderly family members, babies or toddlers who are not fully potty trained. If they purchased this pad for themselves, they probably are not aware of higher quality and more comfortable pads. It certainly will retain liquids but that’s all. It is thin, stiff, scratchy and lacks the comforter type top layer that makes these types of pads truly comfortable for the user. Up scaling for for $10-$15 is absolutely worth the extra money. So, don’t be misled by this pad’s 4.7 star rating. The buyers, for the most part, don’t use it or don’t know what they don’t know.

I have looked and researched trying to find some of these pads that are soft. Ones I had previously were scratchy and not comfortable. These are soft and I forget I’m lying on one. However, it does tend to bunch up a little on me. I would still buy again because of the softness and size. They are also very easy to wash and keep clean.

These have been excellent, running 4 years strong - leakproof on kids beds. Buying more because we now have more kids! I ordered another brand that hugs the mattress like a fitted sheet but those didn’t hold up as waterproof and were a pain to have an additional fitted item. These were the winner by far! Thick yet easy to wash and dry, they don’t really move while on bed. Perfect for kid beds!

I bought these for my MIL with nighttime incontinence. They are perfect. The fabric is soft and durable. They keep their shape and size even after laundering. The pads are large enough to cover her full size bed even with moving around at night. I'm so glad a bought a 2nd package to easily swap out wet for dry in the morning. We used another pad to cover her recliner. As an elderly dementia patient, she spending alot of time in her chair. The pads catch any spills or drips to protect the upholstery. I see many uses for these and I will be buying more.

My 15 year old dog, who sleeps on my bed has begun leaking at night. I can't get the doggie diapers on him. I use these bed pads on top of my bedspread The 2 pads cover the king size bed except for the area where I sleep. When he leaks, it goes into the pad. Never leaks through. Then I just wash the pad in the morning. Much easier than washing bedspread, blanket, sheets and mattress pad. Product is high quality and washes well.

Very happy. It is bigger than I thought. Almost half of a king bed. I can't talk about durability, because I have had it just for one week, but I have washed it once with a little bleach and it came out of the washing machine as new. I should have bought it a month ago.
