High quality brake pad ,no sound ,no dust . I used on my rx350 lexus.

These are very close to the OEM toyota brake pads, low dusting (no more than the toyota pads). They come with shims and wear sensors but no anti rattle springs which are included with toyota pads, you can always reuse your old ones if they're still there. I still prefer to use toyota oem shims and wear sensors.The braking power is about the same as the oem pads, it does the job for a daily driver. if you're looking for more bite go with some hawk or EBC pads.

I bought these front pads and would not fit my car, although I assured myself it was compatible before purchasing; I had to pay shipping both ways to get my money back. Also Akebono/Amazon does a poor job of describing which are front or back brake pads. I had to do extensive research in other sites to make sure I was buying the right position. The back brake pads fortunately fit ok.

This is definitely not the same quality as the OEM even though Akebono manufacture the OEM brake pads for my Toyota. The ceramic brake pad surface area is smaller than my original OEM and the stopping power is definitely less. I will go back to the OEM for my next set. I give 3 stars because I think it is still better than the ones from the local auto shops.

I began using Akebono in 2005 after a (auto parts store owner) friend recommended it to me. I may have bought over 50 sets for myself and family cars.
