Gourmet Boysenberry Jam, 11 Ounce All Natural By Maury Island Farms

This jam is beyond amazing!! Clean good ingredients and the taste is incredible. My husband calls it crack jam. And if you like cocktails, this jam is perfect for an incredibly easy and delicious Gin & Jam! 1T lemon juice, 1T jam, 2 oz gin, shaken.

I learned of boysenberry jam, and about the existence of boysenberries) from my husband years ago. He had fond memories of going to Knottsberry Farm in Anaheim CA when he was a kid. Boysenberry pie and jam are staples in our house.I was sad when I learned about how unhealthy corn syrup can be and sought a replacement. We found it here at Bartell's with Maury Island Farms. It's pricier than Knott's and especially Safeway's Signature brand but worth it, to us. The better taste is easy to notice.

Love this jam because of the flavor and the simple ingredients - boysenberries, cane sugar and pectin. That's all! And it comes from the west coast, which is a prime boysenberry growing area. I can't find boysenberry jam in grocery stores where I live, so I decided to order online, and I'm very happy I chose this product. I'm already finished with one jar and half-way through the next.

I grew upon Knott's Berry Farm's Boysenberry preserves, and while they're still available today, the brand has been bought out by Smuckers and now contains HFCS and other things I don't prefer. I decided to try this brand as it has an impressively natural ingredient list, and man, is this stuff tasty!However, the jar notes that it should be refrigerated after opening, which we did, and when we went to use it fully chilled, it was super thick and difficult to spread, kind of like the consistency of tar. It still tasted great, it just did a lot of damage to the toast.We've taken to setting it out ahead of time if we know we're going to want it so that it thins out a bit, but that's not always convenient. I've since found that the original Knott's Berry Farm recipes for Boysenberry are available under the 'Berry Market' brand on the Knott's site, but they can't use the word "Knott's" for the jam because they sold the name to Smuckers.So, I'll be ordering some of that at some point, but in the meantime if you're looking for a good (albeit thick when cold) alternative, this stuff is pretty good.

The deep boysenberry flavor, dense but easily spreadable texture, and perfect sugar to fruit ratio, makes this the best boysenberry jam imaginable! The four jars arrived in perfect condition, and I couldn’t be happier. Something to think about - a jar of this would be an excellent present for anyone!

I'm very happy to find a source for good boysenberry jam. I don't know why it is no longer available in regular grocery stores. This has excellent flavor, good texture and color. I would be happy if it were just a tad less sweet, but really that would be very picky.

The product itself is great. But there is still serious issues with packaging of Amazon delivered goods. This 4-glass jar set came with very little padding and 2 jars cracked open. Luckily they were not broken, but now their vacuum seal is lost and we'll be wondering if they last good for as long as we expected to enjoy them in our meals.

Ordering these again. By far the best preserves I have tasted (note this is for the Boysenberry, I have not tried the others). No corn syrup. I wish I still had the jar, I would post the ingredients list. To reiterate, the best tasting preserves, and very very full of fruit.
