Sounds great

This band is etched into memory because they reworked their classic song Pretty in Pink for the movie soundtrack bearing the same name. People 30 and under might not relate, but all movie fans no matter how young should perk up when listening to the earlier, more raw version of the song. And guess what? The rest of the tracks are great also - maybe not all gems, but Heaven and Heartbeat certainly are (just love that quirky energetic Heartbeat saxophone).

The Psychedelic Furs were the iconic band of the late 1970s- early 1980s. A band that deserved much more recognition. Butlers voice is unique and at times haunting and strong......"Into you like a train" etc....Saw them at the Mudd Club while working the bar there during that time.....This is a great compilation of their work. There are two tracs that don't have the best sound however......not nearly enough to bypass this excellent work. Recommended.

I agree -don't worry about sound quality (which I did worry about prior to purchasing due to one review). I find nothing wrong with it. what a great album. better than the one disc, 11 song CD (which is still good). I'm finding several good songs that I had never heard before (in addition to the "classics", of course).Great compilation!

Exactly what I expected, a great compliation.

This truly is a collection (2 discs) of the very best of a great "new wave" group. Sure, "Pretty in Pink" is how the band is best remembered, but that's only because it was used for a movie title/soundtrack. There are many great tunes on here that I'd long forgotten but am happy to be reminded of. "Alice's House," "President Gas," "Heaven," and many, many more. I preferred this "best of" collection over the others available due to the superior choices of songs.

The second disc is my favorite but the first one id growing on me. Great 80's sounds.

80年代、ウォークマンのメタルテープに入れて、毎日のように聴いていた「MIRRORS」。特に一曲目の「GHOST～」から「Heaven」までの心地好さ、高揚感は何にも変えられないものがあった。改めて、今聴いてみても名曲のオンパレード。音としても一周(２周？)廻って新しい。素晴らしいベストアルバムだ。

Hugely underrated band . Great compilation of their hits & a few deep cuts as well . About to release their new record very soon & this serves as a brilliant reminder of their talent .

Top band, great compilation album that spans their whole career.If you aren't familiar with them this album is a great place to start. I have the early and late albums, but forgot that even at their most commercial the Furs wrote some great songs.Also a terrific live act.
