Solid everyday rigatoni with minor flaws
I bought this rigatoni pasta for weekly family dinners and overall I am satisfied. The pasta has a sturdy shape that holds sauce well and cooks evenly without falling apart. I liked the slightly rough texture and the clean wheat flavor. Portion size feels generous and the price is reasonable. On the downside, cooking time on the package was inaccurate for me and the pasta turned soft quickly. A few pieces were broken in the bag, which was disappointing. It is not exceptional or artisanal, but it is reliable for everyday meals. I would buy it again despite minor issues.

EXCELLENT PASTA WITH BOWTIE VARIETY!
A very excellent pasta! Farfalle is a favorite, great hot with meat, sauce and herbs/seasoning, or simply cold and excellent in a Mediterranean salad with tomatoes, olives, and artichokes with or without meat or poultry, all topped off with a special red wine and vinegar dressing. The price was very nice, will be purchasing more in Amazon's Subscribe and Save. Thank you, Rao, for a great pasta.

Rao’s is our new go to
OMG! Buy them! Worth the extra amount. These with Raos sauce is our new favorite. They taste phenomenal, you can tell the difference now if you eat anything different. If you don’t want to go above and beyond literally two ingredients (3 if you want the meatballs) and dinner is served! Promise you’ll love it!

Good pasta
The texture or thickness of Rao’s bow tie pasta is definitely different than other brands. It’s a lot thicker and takes a lot longer to cook. But overall, it’s what you add to this pasta that makes it delicious. I love adding sun-dried tomatoes, Castelvetrano olives, feta and a little balsamic vinaigrette. Yum

Even My Italian Ancestors Would Approve
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Title: Even My Italian Ancestors Would Approve I bought Rao’s Penne Pasta expecting “good pasta.” What I got was why-didn’t-I-switch-sooner pasta. The texture is perfect—firm, holds sauce like it was personally trained for the job, and doesn’t turn to mush if you look at it wrong. It actually tastes like pasta, not just a vehicle for sauce. Paired it with Rao’s sauce (obviously) and suddenly my weeknight dinner felt suspiciously fancy. It cooks evenly, doesn’t fall apart, and somehow makes me feel like I know what I’m doing in the kitchen. My family asked if I “did something different.” I did not. I just bought better pasta. More expensive than the generic stuff? Yes. Worth it? Also yes. Will continue buying and pretending it’s homemade. 🍝

The Rao'd taken.
This is one of the brands of pasta that has no synthetic vitamins added. The difference is subtle, but not to have that vitamin pill taste in the background is definitely an improvement. 100% semolina, slow dried pastas are easier to prepare "al dente", whereas the bulk commercial varieties tend to go from underdone to mush, without hitting the sweet spot. So, this is a competitive, premium, dried pasta, with no chemical aftertaste. It's worth a try, IMO.

Reliable rigatoni for everyday cooking
I tried this rigatoni for a family dinner, and everyone enjoyed it. The pasta cooks evenly and holds its shape well. Pros: sturdy texture, ridges grab sauce nicely, and it does not turn mushy. It pairs great with meat sauces and baked dishes. Cons: cooking time runs slightly long, and a few pieces were cracked in the box. Flavor is neutral, which works for most recipes. The price is fair for the quality, and the portion size feeds several people. I will definitely keep this pasta stocked for weeknight meals. Packaging was simple, but the product arrived fresh and undamaged!
