Excellent Arabic learning book... best of all, it provides, authentic Arabic speakers.. this is the book you want to get to learn real Arabic intonation and accent,Short phrases and sentences make it easier to memorize and to remember. from beginner to intermediate. I got the MP3s from their website for free... When studying this program, try to be both characters in all dialogues, this way you'll learn to ask and to answer. it's like talking to yourself kind of thing,if you're learning on your own. an other tip.. grab your cellphone and practice if you were talking to someone else on the other end, back and forth, your brain will create images naturally, but also practice with someone else if possible., the advantage of MP3 format is that you can SLOW it down on windows media player to listen word by word,.. anyways, stick with one dialogue first, when you master it, then continue to the next dialogue until you reached your goal. It's very simple.

This book is intriguing. It is not for the absolute beginner. Rather it would be good for the person with some Arabic grammar but no skills at using it....like me. One page is in Modern Standard Arabic with a translation but no transliteration. So you have to know your Arabic letters. The opposite page has the Egyptian Arabic written in Arabic and with a transliteration. You can see the big difference between the 2 dialects. A few vocabulary notes. Half of each page has notes for you as a student. If you want to get busy really learning and not just playing around with Arabic, these books from Lingualism are what you need.

Ive been very happy with all of purchases from Author Matthew Aldrich. Im studying both fusha and Egptian Arabic using the Kalimni series and his has been a great supplement to growing my vocabulary

The author has produced an indispensable resource for learning Arabic in his series of books and audio. In a week or two my comprehension both written and aurally rapidly improved. Mr Aldrich is to be congratulated.
