Nut Broom - Collect Windfall Nuts Without Bending

This nut broom has saved my back this fall. We have a large walnut tree in our back yard so I roll for walnuts throughout the summer and most heavily in September. The walnuts of varying sizes pop into the wire cage very easily. Kind of a hassle to empty the cage. I tried the accessory but ended up just separating the wires by hand to dump out the walnuts. I wear gardening gloves while doing this especially later in the season as the walnuts start to decay and blacken. Another hassle is that the sections of the long handle of the nut broom occasionally fall apart so I have to stop and put it together again.

I wasn't sure this would work but I've never been so satisfied with a purchase like this Nut Broom. It makes the job of picking up black walnuts so easy and it saves a lot of bending and raking, my back is so appreciative. It is very sturdy and comes with the dumping tool.

I was very skeptical of this little gadget but my husband insisted we get it for our dozens of nasty walnut trees. Well it worked! It takes awhile with the amount of nuts we have to pick up but it is so much better than sitting on the ground with a garbage bag picking them up one by one. And it also included the spreader to release them from the broom which we didn't realize. Thought we would have to order that separately. Hopefully it will last a while.

I used to pick up really big acorns and it was wonderful! Just rolled right over them and there they were in the basket. The best tool ever!

Capacity not as big as some and the sectioned handle comes apart if not forcefully fitted. Other than that, it works great. I use it for gumballs. It is a good value for the price.

Great. However the handle is made of interlocking sections and tend to fall apart when trying to dump walnuts. With a normal single piece handle this item would functiouch better. However, I understand it would be harder to ship.

Ugh. Not great.. my yard is full of acorns and this barely picks them up. Don’t waste your money!

Very poor design , performance, not worth of spending time and money, regular rake can do faster and better job than this. I have one oak trea and has thousands acorns all over the yard, this thing cannot pickup more than 10 acorns , wathever goes in after that keeps falling out. However if I can take this star I would.

Great for picking up the walnuts, even off a very rough patch of the yard. I wish there was a better way of releasing the nuts from the cage, you have to separate the wires by hand to create an opening, a bit inconvenient.

I received my order today, three days late and to my surprise it is NOT as shown in pictures. For the price I paid I expected the attachment to clip on a pail to open the gatherer to release the nuts. Well NO, therefore we must BEND to open the gatherer and release the nuts. Hence.....where is the saving for the back aches.Although this product does what it says, picks up the nuts fallen from our tree, it does NOT have all parts shown. Disappointed.

Fantastic! Picks up the walnuts like hot damn. Actually fun to use. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent nut broom for large nuts like walnuts, BUT we grow pecans, so it is of no use to us. How can we exchange it for the one we want?
