The video doesn't help either, to fold it like they do in the video would snap the poles?

I know, the video doesn't help at all! They really need to break that step down for people. It's really unintuitive. Basically you stand with the ends of the poles at your feet (clipped together per instructions) and the arch up by your waist. You grab the arch, but instead of attempting to fold it straight downwards, which would break the poles, you twist it as you push it down, by pushing only one arm down till your arm is fully extended, then wrenching the other arm across your waist before pushing down, while the other arm remains fully extended. LOL its not easy! Any, it ends up creating a sort-of figure 8. I always break a sweat out of nervousness before doing it, but it works and you'll get better at it as you practice. And despite that issue I find it to be a great tent.

will this help keep you warmer in a tent from the cold?

We keep the side vents open because the tent becomes smouldering, otherwise.

It does not block 100 but closer to 80. The fabric is breathable but if you put off a lot of body heat you will not need a blanket cause it does retain some heat
