Med/High security lock with 2 rows of pins.
Very cool little lock with pins coming from 2 directions at a 90° angle from one another.

Good quality lock, Missing the cam!
Without the cam, it really isn’t a lock. The cam is the flat part that rotates at the end of the cylinder opposite the key end. I suspect that it is lying on the floor in the Amazon warehouse. I contacted the manufacturer, and the nice man on the phone took my info and told me that they would send me the missing part. That was more than 3 weeks ago and I still haven’t received it. I called back and left a voicemail, but so far nothing. So I guess it’s game over? (sigh)If I ever do receive the cam, then I will change my review to 5 stars

Easily pickable
First off: this is a cheap lock. You get what you pay for. But considering the price, it's not an unacceptable value. If you're keeping a low value item away from someone who knows nothing about picking, it'll work.I didn't rake this lock, but I pin picked it with a half-diamond. It wasn't hard at all. Slightly better than a masterlock. After turning the cylinder, the pins popped out and obstructed the keyway. So, consider that a warning: If you pick this lock it might self-destruct and require repair.

Good lock for the money
This is a decent cam lock for the money. There are two common ways to attach the cam to the back of the lock, and it would've been nice if this lock came with hardware for both. It lacks the squared-off oval locking nut that you need for some types of cam. But other than that, I am happy with the lock and its operation. Build quality seems high.

Not "high security" but marginally better than a standard wafer lock.
This took all of 20-30 seconds to rake open, that being said it is better than a wafer lock. If you need marginal better security, but aren't locking up true valuables, this should be fine. If you need something with real security you're going to need to upgrade to something better than this. Expect anyone with any lock picking skill to be in in under a minute.Not worth returning it, but only worth keeping to teach physical security.If your choice is this or a wafer lock, get this. If your choice is this or a real high security cam lock (think medeco, protec2, etc) then get one of those.

The key is only removable in the locked position. When installing on residential security container "Gun Safe" the user can't just use on key at the same time for multiple locks of this kind
