When the unit originally purchased did not work to my satisfaction, I immediately returned the portable CD player to Amazon the same day it was received. In addition, I posted a negative review of the product. Within days the company reached out to me and offered a replacement at no charge. Although I delayed responding for a month or more, the customer service representative continued to communicate their willingness to resolve my problem and were very courteous. I finally agreed to accept a replacement.The replacement unit (Naviskauto portble CD player) works perfectly. Excellent sound reproduction. Easy to use and operate. a very good buy for the money.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It is a great little portable CD player. I take it out on the porch and play my favorite CDs. You can take it anywhere you want a little music....any room in your home or outside on a porch or patio. Has plenty of volume. Have not tried to play it in a vehicle yet. I am using the 2 AA batteries and it is fine with the built in speaker. I recommend this player for someone like me who just wanted to sit outside or anywhere and play some favorite CDs that they like to listen to. PS don't "lock" the button on the bottom of the player or it won't play....took me a minute to figure that out once I looked in the instruction book. Good purchase. Hope it lasts a long time, but if not, would buy another one.

I needed a compact CD player with speakers for a specific purpose - playing a classical CD's at night when I retire. Due to limited space I needed something small so I took a chance on this item. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.POSITIVE ITEMS: OK it not professional equipment by any means but the speakers give more that adequate sound quality.Size is important - not much larger that a portable CD "pancake" playerNEGATIVE ITEMS:To many controls! Do you need and adjustment for CD play speed?Lock button on bottom near the battery case. Don't leave this in the "locked" or unit won't play. Has nothing to do with the battery hatch! confusing.Overall once I mastered the operation of the unit it plays well - don't lose those operation instructions!!. Looks and feels like a well made machine but time will tell.

I listen to audio books on CD while driving and chose this because my new car has no CD player and I don't like using my phone for audio books. Unlike most portable CD players, this one has its own speakers, so if I want to finish listening to an audio book when I'm not in my car, I can. I have not tried the battery power yet, but the usb power works fine, and the aux jack works with my car's audio speakers. I've had it for a week and my only complaint is if I miss hearing something I have to go back to the beginning of the track and can't just back up a little bit. But maybe I just haven't discovered how to do that yet.

Finally after one year of searching for a CD Player I found the perfect player. Good sound, easy to use and plays with AA Batteries. That means I could play in the car or anywhere without wired hookup. And the price was less than other Players who had rechargeable batteries (hate them) and other non-essential hookups.

I do not recommend this player as it stopped playing sound a couple of weeks after the return policy ended.We purchased this as it had external speakers and my daughter and I read books on tape together.The other player with AMFM radio we purchased lasts for years but doesn't have external speakers!

Whenever you aren't using this thing it's still draining batteries like crazy. I put a fresh pair of batteries in, listened to a couple of songs and then turned it off for a couple of weeks. It was dead the next time I tried to use it. So, you have to take the batteries out every time you use it. The earbuds it came with are awful, but the speaker on the cd player itself is decent.

This is a very simple to use player. It is small and light so easy to put on a table or desktop without it being in the way. Has a good range of volume and is very easy to use. I can finally play some of my old CDs without taking up much of my desk at work.
