I installed this in our back yard to remove the trip hazard of always having the hose on the ground. Our backyard is 60' wide, so the 66' hose is the perfect length. After each use, it neatly rolls back up. There are bristles that clean the hose from dirt on its way back into the coil.

I wish I had bought this sooner. It's so convenient to pull out the length I need, use it, tug it lightly and it automatically retracts neatly right back. No coiling or rolling hoses up, no fighting kinks. It's SO easy. If you're thinking about it, do it

the included sprayer feels cheap and fragile, but it's not a deal breaker. the unit itself works fine and time will tell how long it will last.

These are perfect for watering on a deck or walkway. Not heavy to pull or move hose, I love it.

the inlet hose started cracking after about 9 months (this is mounted to the wall and left connected to hose bib, so NO movement at this hose at all). Then a few months later it started leaking from EVERYwhere

While this seemed like a wonderful product initially, within a few weeks of use, the retraction feature broke...actually not sure it broke, it is just too sensitive. Once the hose has been pulled out a ways, the 'stop' will hold the hose at that length, supposedly until you pull it again, then it will retract. Unfortunately, ANY movement causes the 'stop' to withdraw and pull the hose back in. Even the motion of the water flowing through the hose is enough to cause the hose to start to retract. This has made the whole system basically unusable.

I haven’t used it a lot but the times I have I love it!! It detracts like it should and comes with 2 spray nozzles that are quick release and don’t have to be screwed on and off each time. A good hose cost almost as much as this does so why not treat yourself?
