Comfortable and effective fitover sunglasses
Comfortable and effective fitover sunglasses These polarized wraparound sunglasses are a great solution if you wear prescription glasses and don’t want the hassle of clip-ons. They slip easily over my regular glasses without feeling too bulky, and the wraparound style gives full coverage from the sun. The smoke lenses cut glare really well, especially when driving or spending time by the water, and they noticeably reduce eye strain. I appreciate that they look more like regular sunglasses than oversized “fitovers.” The black frame has a clean design, and while they are a bit larger to accommodate glasses, they don’t feel heavy on the face. The side lenses are a smart touch—they block sunlight coming in from the periphery, which is something my regular glasses can’t do. Worth noting: make sure to measure your prescription glasses before ordering. These fit well over medium-sized frames but might be tight on anything larger. Bottom line: A practical, well-made pair of polarized sunglasses that comfortably fit over everyday glasses, making them ideal for driving, outdoor activities, or just enjoying a sunny day without squinting.

The Instructions in how to select the sizes were perfect. To find sunglasses with such a range of ...
I have these in two different sizes--Small and X-Small-- to fit over two glasses of different sizes. I have a small face, so I find it frustrating to find fitovers that are not way too large. The Instructions in how to select the sizes were perfect. To find sunglasses with such a range of sizes at such a low price point was such a find. They feel light, which is wonderful for fitover glasses, but they don't feel cheap. But so maybe they won't last for ten years, or even two (although I expect they will), at this price point, what is there to complain about? With them fitting so nicely, they actually are very stylish. I keep one in the car, and one in the house for reading on my Balcony. Now I need to get the company to use these frames in multi-sizes, and make Blue-Blocker fitover glasses for wearing a few hours before bedtime, so that Melatonin will not be so suppressed when exposed to screens, and even the normal lighting in one's house. They would need to block as close to 100% of blue light as possible, and not just the amount blocked for daytime computer use.The research on the increasing issues we are having with sleep is growing to gargantuan proportions, so you see attention to these problems all over now, and likewise, the sale of products designed to facilitate sleep. Good Blue-Blocking glasses do just that. I just want to add that these frames are so much better than Solar Shield fitovers. The side arm has quickly broken in two different pairs. I didn't even get through one month before each one broke. They also have more sizes, more colors, fit much better, and look more stylish.

Good sun protection, lightweight, lenses just ok
The LensCovers Polarized Wraparound Sunglasses (tortoise-shell, smoke gray lenses) are very good for what I want. Although I am wearing them by themselves, they give me the option to put over prescription glasses as I may need to when my post-cataract-surgery eyes settle down. And they are not as tight-fitting as many wraparounds, which for me is good: I wear them when walking or driving so don't need them to be super secure, but do need more air flow so they won't be as hot or fog up so much. They are reasonably attractive and give extra sun coverage with "side lights" on the wide temples. I don't think the lenses will be very scratch-resistant, and they are not super-clear--but for the price, and for my purposes, these are a very good choice.

Perfect fit
Finally, a perfect fit over my prescription glasses. I was also able to measure my prescription glasses in inches. That diffinitely took the guess work out of ordering the correct size!

Finally! Fit Over Sunglasses That Perform 100% as Advertised
I had invested in a pair of those, "As seen on TV amber HD sunglasses," which fit over my regular glasses. They are okay and tolerable for a short time. Soon the bridge of my nose would hurt due to how they settled over my other glasses and don't even think they are polarized or, "as good as," either. Forget trying to wear any kind of hat while wearing them. Well, as a result of having cataract surgery, trauma to one eye from being shot back in the 1970's, and taking medications causing photo-sensitivity, I was screwed, unless paying out the nose for a second pair of prescription sunglasses. I researched through an ophthalmologist website just what would be required and these "Fit Over Sunglasses by LensCovers" fit the bill to a "T." Upon quick receipt of this order, which was very well packaged, I tried them on and was shocked at the clarity of vision with excellent fit and no visual distortion. Make sure you use the sizing chart they provide to obtain the best fitting glasses for your unique needs. My wife was amazed because I didn't look like I was wearing those, "just out of the eye doctor's office HUGE geriatric outer space" sunglasses. These are very stylish indeed, fit very well, are extremely comfortable, performing exactly as the seller advertises. Is that refreshing or what? Honestly, if people didn't already know, you can't even tell there are regular prescription glasses under these sunglasses. Should I say this out loud? You actually look like a 'normal non-prescription wearing glasses' person while wearing these sunglasses. No pun intended, but that is just too cool for color TV. I highly recommend these sunglasses. My wife and I are so impressed, she is buying a pair of her own to replace her, "clip-on" sunglasses. Very easy to rate this product with 5 Stars.

Close...., but no cigar.
On the good side, the LensCovershave have effective polarizing and are free of distortion, mares and scratches. The product seems of good quality, workmanship and material overall. Using the LensCovers In combination with my prescription glasses I could see noticeably clearer/sharper than with my expensive prescription tinted sunglasses. On the down side, they didn't really fit over my glasses even though the medium LensCovers dimensions should have worked. The problem was, my glasses have an "extra" wire support that runs across the top of the lens frames. The LensCovers on the other hand expect the frames to be following the lens to the nose bridge between the lens. So this wire support held the LensCovers way too far from my glasses. Since these are relatively inexpensive, I used some of my handcraft tools to cut away on the LensCovers frame to relieve the interference until the LensCovers fit perfectly onto my glasses. Still, I wasn't fully satisfied with the results the LensCovers provided. They are not as much a goggle fit as I expected so they let some light in behind where their frame wraps around the top of my forehead. So I see some reflection off the back of my glasses lens. Also, even though the LensCovers seem quite light weight and are not annoying to wear by themselves, the extra weight they put on the nose rest of my glasses starts to be painful after about 10-15 minutes. It appears that if I had selected either the large slim or large size LensCovers, they would have fit without the modification I made but I fear the additional weight of these sizes would have made my wearing experience even more painful.

Wonderful for outdoor work, migranes, or just light sensitive eyes!
These are great firstly because they don't look too goofy. You could say they are a little "granny", but have you perused sunglass styles lately? At the moment, big seems to be back. And these are only as big as they have to be, in the XL size, to fit over my own prescription frames. A really nice feature is the side "window" that achieves two things - no side "leak" of unshielded light but some peripheral visibility. I bought these because I was going to be working outside with powered yard tools, but that is only an occasional need for me. What was more surprising was what a huge upgrade this was from my regular prescription sunglasses or clip-ons in terms of comfort on days when my dry eyes act up. I do take Restasis, but sometimes still the sun can be actually painful, and these glasses are the difference between feeling mostly okay and being really comfortable - important for driving and outside work. A family member has frequent migranes, and a few days after trying my glasses, bought her own pair. She already wears sunglasses at work when her headaches act up, but again, these block considerably more light, especially side light, than any regular pair of sunglasses. You'll want to get a case specially made to be big enough for protective eyewear, and I'll update this review if I find one worth the recommendation. I'm just really happy to have something like this that doesn't even look like the industrial/work glasses that they are. And no, people won't notice that you have these over your prescription lenses unless the temples (ear connection-to-frame bars) of your prescription glasses are really thick and garish.
