Better than what I got at chain store
I was worried to buy stainless steel bowls from Amazon as you can't always trust sellers here. Well, these seem to be stainless! They are easy to attach to the cage, and easy to clean! We originally got similar bowls from PetSmart and they CRACKED! I think it was from using warm water to clean them and then putting cold, fresh water for the bird, but still. The connectors on those were also gross painted black. These are great so far! We don't use a bowl for water anymore, we use a bottle, but so far so good! No rust, no buildup, and easy to clean! They also look nice. Good size for our green cheek conure!

They’re not bad at all
I had some other ones that for some reason were much more difficult to deal with, these cups slide right into the rings. Buddy, my cockatiel seems to like them a lot.

Better than Plastic!
I bought these to update my bird's water and food container from their old plastic ones and I couldn't be happier!! Not only are these more sanitary but they're much easier to clean than the plastic water container that I'd have to work to scrub like crazy! For these though, you'd just have to make sure that you're not placing them in an area where your bird might accidentally poop in them. Installing them was a bit hard but considering the quality it was well worth the struggle.

Not 100% Steel, Not Good for Baby Cockatiels
I’ve taken the advice of most YouTube pet bird channels and ordered these stainless steel bird bowls. They were priced at just a little over ten dollars and there were two in the pack, each with hoop mounting brackets. Also included were two small bright colored woven wood balls that my bird really liked. She did not, however, like the bowls which have been removed for the time being. I noticed the bowls felt rather light for stainless steel, so I did a couple simple experiments on them. First, I flicked them with my fingernail. To my surprise, they each gave off a distinctly different toned ring. This would indicate they are different sizes. Next, I tested the metal with a neodymium magnet. Some parts of the bowls showed to be steel, whereas, other parts did not. The rings and rims were definitely steel. The top portions of the sides- also steel. But as the magnet reached closer to the bottom of the sides, there was very little, if any, magnetism. Finally, the bottoms showed to be aluminum and not steel at all.In conclusion, there are pluses and minuses to these products. They do take getting used to. It’s a big step to move from plastic troughs to these. These have no perches, so if you get them, place a perch under them.I do not recommend them for young cockatiels. Mine could not reach it and became frustrated.EDIT:-Another thing to note is if you use these bowls for water, your bird will see her reflection in the bottom just like a mirror, and may become too hormonal.-You also need a wood perch next to it for easy access. It is hard for them to stand on the edge of the bowl if they are young.-Lastly, your bird might try to take a bath in it, which could be a great idea, since it can be difficult to get them to bathe sometimes.***UPDATE*** As of January 2023, one of the two bowls I purchased has cracked. I will be replacing that bowl ASAP so that it does not leach dangerous metals or bacteria into the food. Also, my cockatiel now has no problem perching on the rim of the bowl even though I have a rope perch alongside the bowl. If yours cracks, at least turn the cracked rim around so that the crack is facing the bolt, out of reach of your bird.

I love these!
I keep chickens, and when one falls ill or injured, I bring them in the house in a pet carrier to recover. These bowls are perfect for my chooks. They fit in the doors of the carriers and don't stain or get slimy like plastic dishes can. This is my second order of these exact bowls from this seller-- I am switching out all my plastic feeders for these. The first ones I got about a year ago and I have no complaints at all, so I am ordering more.I like the metal hoop brackets better than the plastic arm type brackets. I have one chicken that sees dinner coming and starts climbing on her dishes in excitement, and they are strong enough to hold her, lol.

Easy to fill & clean
The only thing I *don't* like about this product is that they are made in China. The brackets are easy to install, and the bowls are easy to clean, and my birds love them (as far as I can tell). They aren't so deep that my Parakeets have to 'stand on their heads' to get to their food. And they aren't so shallow that they can hold a fair amount of food for my Cockatiel.I've bought four packs of two and considered buying another pack of two.
