Cosmo Grill BBQ, 6 Burner, Model EL-2016DH (93416), brilliant bbq
Cosmo Grill BBQ, 6 Burner, Model EL-2016DH (93416), brilliant bbq.Purchased 2 years ago and have been using on a regular basis over that time. Was quite difficult to originally build but placed all of the pieces on the lawn and ticked each one off the list and actually read the instructions before starting assembly (a first). Took around 3 hours for me to build on my own but I didn’t rush and took it slow and steady. The side burner takes a little while to work out but got there in the end.I use a 5kg patio gas canister and it normally lasts around 3 months heavy use and costs £33 for a replacement, at time of writing (Jul 22).BBQ is sturdy has wheels and works really well, as you have 6 burners and a side burner, it can cater for a small or large number of people, depending on how many burners you use.As each burner is independent, you can adjust the temperature for each one and have cooked normal, sausages, burgers, pork stakes, pork ribs as well as chi etc.The cupboard below the bbq is handy for cooking utensils and a couple of cans of emergency beer supply.I would definitely recommend this bbq, but would look to pay around £300 or less. You will need to buy a cover for storing outside and I got the Cosmo Grill one for about £40 which has gone through 2 winters with no problems.Whichever one you buy, enjoy ;)

Great Value For Money!
A great bbq. I’d say the power output is a touch lower than my old one. Cooking times have increased and it doesn’t quite get as hot, even with 3 extra burners. Flat grills make this easy to clean. It’s more moveable, having 4 wheels. The drip tray is a bonus, with a little hanging pot underneath (I don’t remember this being advertised). It looks great, with a matte black finish, but after that has been left out for a few days, even under covers, there’s a mottled effect, which does not seem to clean off. That said, great value for money, quite easy to build (although make sure you have space for it) and cooks well. I just hope it lasts 7 years like it’s predecessor!

Great bbq
Love this bbq, it’s my first gas one and it is such a good size and nice to cook on. I find the grills extremely difficult to clean but I imagine they’re probably all the same. The cupboard magnets could be better as every time you move the bbq they come open. I also had a bit of damage to mine inside the box which I see a lot of other people have mentioned, nothing big, just some slight bending of edges, nothing that stopped me building it. Also the packet which held the bolts in it had been completely obliterated which meant that the bits were everywhere, although luckily none missing.

Nice bbq
Was flat packed, wasn't to hard to put together, a few fiddely bits but got it done, on my own in about 2 hours. Nice and solid once all screws in place, well happy.

Great for the price
We put this together in about a hour. The instructions were easy to follows, and although one person could put it together having two is easier. It’s a big and looks great. Looking forward to when we can invite friends over to put it to good use.The companies customer service is great. We had an issue with one of the doors, I emailed them and told them and within a few days a new door had been sent out. All in all we are very happy.

A temporary grill for two seasons.
When new, it functioned perfectly.Stored under an approved waterproof cover, cleaned religiously after each use and kept in the garage during the winter...However, the back of the BBQ, the inside of the lid and more importantly, the flame tamers corroded after 2 seasons. Gas pipes to each burner are on the way out as well.Cheap and nasty metal corroding despite the powder coating. The "ceramic" coating on the grill surfaces bubbles and permits corrosion to set in, despite oiling the the surfaces periodically. The drip tray is corroded as well.If you want a temporary grill, so be it. Not fit for long term use.

Not particularly sturdy, looks good and hopefully works well.
Took about 4 hours to build in total. I’m pretty savvy at building things bought online or from ikea, and this was difficult for 2 reasons; bent parts that I had to rectify, and some screws/assembly that wasn’t particularly well thought out (screws beneath the hob less accessible, and the door support beam struggled to fit in without scratching the uprights).Several parts bent. The floor part, which would have prevented the door closing properly. A few of the protective covers for the burners. A piece at the front left of the main grill section (I had to remove the front panel and bend that and the frame back into shape).Contacting support (prior to remediating myself) resulted in them offering me a free cover or pizza stone (instead of the required parts). If I hadn’t spent so long constructing it, I’d have probably sent it back.Might update when I’ve actually used it. But the construction is probably closer to a £200 frame rather than £300+

Takes a while to assemble
To save everyone some time and head scratching, swap 1 and 2 around in the order you carry out the assembly instructions. Do number 2 first, then number 1, then back in normal order, 3, 4, 5.....etc. You won't get a 7 burner BBQ at better monetary value, but factor in your time as a part of it and you might think it's the most expensive. Pick a day where you don't have a deadline, have patience and read the instructions twice. Look hard at them as the images are small and you need tiny detail to ensure parts are the correct way around. Learn your differing screw sizes. Once done I believe you'll be pleased with what you've purchased.
