I wanted something small and portable for my mini travel trailer. I partnered it with a pump for those off the grid camping days and that took a little extra set up time, but if you are attaching to a garden hose it's just a matter of minutes for set up. And it works great. Instant warm water!! In fact the biggest issue is to make sure you don't turn the heat setting all the way up because it is hotter than you will ever need.

Installed this on the rear door of my Sprinter. Mounted it to a piece of painted and sealed plywood so that I could easily remove as a whole unit if desired. I clamp the hoses to the wood and use quick connects for the incoming water and gas lines. Super convenient, efficient and _instant_ hot water! You can crank this up to near boiling temps, and the adjustable water pressure is a nice bonus. Some people don't care for the shower head, but I found it to be just fine.One nitpick: there are small rust spots on the screws after only one camping trip. Not the best stainless hardware, but I'll clean them up and clearcoat.

Looking to create instant hot water on a budget, This is it.Not our 1st instant tankless, just first time DIY hot tub heaters.Unit arrives with ALL Fittings. Main Concern is/was fitting from Heater to Garden hose and vise versa. Those heater to garden hose fittings are included. Connections for cold water to tankless, no problem, connections from Pump (12v) no problem.At checkout I noticed the recommended items were Sureflow pump "Shurflo 2088-554-144 " (12v 45psi freshwater pump) and also strainer filter for pump "SHURFLO (255-313)" We included these items for our project, they work perfectly for our spa, reducing heating costs and stocking the house with an emergency tankless water heater for power outages or camping. It is very recommended to use CPVC rigid pipe lines with this heater, as using typical garden hoses or supplied "Red Shower hose wand" will come to stress with extended heat and or pressure.In conclusion yes this works great, these are common all over the world and very basic. If protected from elements and sediment this unit will last years. I hope this helps.

Fulltime RV'er. This the 5th tankless waterheater I've purchased. I'm impressed how complete this kit is. Came with all I needed to get hot water right in the box. Past units needed additional fittings converting foreign threads to what's standard in this country. Now to use,works great. Temperatures from crazy hot to temps that are comfortable. Showerhead has three settings all very useable, plus a pause ,on and off feature.. only down side the hose is too short. Writing a review is rare for me. Just saying if you want a great tankless waterheater this is it.

I have used this little water heater in my small off grid cabin daily for the last 6 months.It's great! The hot water is fantastic. The unit is not designed to have pressure on it all the time. I blew the first shower hose by not letting the pressure off when it wasn't in use. It was pretty easily replaced for about 10$.It is a gas miser. It shares a 20lb propane tank with my 3 burner stove and I change out the tank monthly.I highly recommend this heater.

It works, but I'm frustrated that this is advertised for and meant to be used outside but cant handle rain. It has to be in a covered area which seems ridiculous. If it's meant to be outside, it should be able to get rained on without voiding the warranty. Major design flaw.

This water heater is great! I am personally using it outdoors to quickly heat the water in an inflatable hot tub. You will need additional items such as a pump, etc .... to use it for this function. But I have this water heater mounted to 4x4 in the ground and it works perfectly! I highly recommend it! If you're going to use this unit as an outdoor camping shower you will have more than enough hot water!

I bought this unit so that the nine straight days I will be hunting I can have a hot shower. Now I can have hot water literally anywhere if there’s a water source or if I have a bucket of water. Four star rating is only because temp of water can vary a little and if one is not careful water can get very hot. Start with temp well to the low side.

The media could not be loaded.  We installed this in our outdoor shower, and we love it. Very easy to install and has been working flawlessly for months now, and that's with our guests having 2-4 showers a day. If you're looking for an outdoor shower, I definitely recommend this one.

#1 - I bought this unit specifically because the manufacture claims that "With Oxygen Depletion Sensor Protection, it can be also installed indoors where is well ventilated.". However the manual makes very clear that this product is for outdoor use only, and so does the label on the side. Literally the very first safety warning on the very first page of the manual makes it clear this can NOT be used inside, and there are about half a dozen other warnings throughout the manual after that that also say not to use it inside. Further, its CSA rating (which they make sure to mention on the product page) is only for outdoor use. This company has outright lied about this product's suitability.#2 - Be aware that the minimum clearances to combustible materials is 20inch to the rear, and 40 inches to the top and two sides. Think about that. How is this supposed to be used indoors with those clearances? Half of the amazing potential uses they detail on this page are not really possible with such clearances.#3 - The manual states "do not connect to potable water" (page 6). This means it should not be used with the hose bib on your house, or your RV water system. Basically, you should only use this with a pump being fed from a bucket or pond, per the manual.#4 - The manual states that a pressure relief valve is supposed to be included for deliveries within the Canadian market, yet there is no PRV in the box. This is a code requirement here.I'm pretty disappointed in this product. After I realized it had all these problems I decided to check Amazon's global (not Canadian site) and only then did I realize how many truly awful reviews this heater gets - including pictures from when they've actually for-real caught on fire (common). I'd stay away from this one- if the company lacks the integrity to properly describe the suitability of the product then what's going to happen when they manage to burn your house down or scar you in an explosion?

It was very hard to get lit initially we had to assemble the outside casing and adjust the little igniters. Once we had that figured out those beautiful hot water hotter than you can stand it pressure with that little hose is absolutely incredible

Stopped working after 2 uses. Very disappointed
