LOFTILLA Smart Scale for Body Weight, Weight Scale, Digital Bathroom Scales, Scale with BMI, Body Fat, Muscle Mass, Apple Health Compatible

I like that I can keep track of my weight loss. This scale connects to my phone, my Apple Watch and to myfitness pal app. This is the best scale I ever owned.

In the past couple of years, I started logging exercise and my weight using my iPhone and Apple Watch. I got into the habit of manually entering my weight in the Health app on my phone. This Loftilla scale is a huge upgrade for me! The app/registration and setup process was pretty simple. In addition to the Bluetooth connection from the scale to the Loftilla app, I also enabled permissions for the Loftilla app to enter data in Health. I've only used it a couple of days so far, but it's fantastic. The scale quietly and accurately does its job, and the data is logged in my phone, both in the Loftilla app and the Health app. Our old "dumb" scale isn't actually dumb — it speaks. *tap* "Hello. Are you ready? *step on, wait 5 seconds* "Your weight is one hundred sixty nine point seven pounds." *wait 10 seconds* "Powering down." I didn't love it because I was frequently using the old scale in the early morning when my wife was still asleep. I didn't want to disturb her. So the silent operation of the Loftilla scale works well for me. However, I learned my wife appreciates the speaking feature of the old scale because she doesn't usually have her glasses or contacts in when she weighs (and she can't read the digital display). In order for her to use the new Loftilla scale, she will have to install the Loftilla app. I wasn't sure whether it had the capability of multiple users / phones paired with the scale or whether it would be "my" scale and mine alone. It looks like the app has the ability to serve us in this scenario. I'll get that set up and test the feature ASAP. Again, I'm very pleased so far and look forward to enjoying this scale. I bought this scale back in August when I decided I was going to start hitting the gym and losing the weight I gained during quarantine. I made it a goal to weigh myself often and would sometimes open up the app and let it sync up so that I can keep track of how much weight I lost. It's really easy to use and very convenient/accurate. I have weighed myself on it and at the gym and would notice it is exactly the same weight the scale read. You can also set up a goal in the app and it will alert you when you get there. Aside from that, I live alone but a feature that could be great for someone who doesn't is that you can set up family members in the app so that it doesn't interfere with your own weight trend. It also syncs up with the Apple Health app which is another plus. It also tells you your BMI when you use the app, if you like keeping track of that as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend buying it if you want an affordable but accurate scale that is up to date with technology. It's a game changer at it's price and absolutely worth every penny and more.

I am over-all very happy with this purchase, the scale is definitely perfectly accurate (I tested it with one of my ankle weights which I also measured on my digital kitchen scale which I know is extremely accurate right down to the .00 level). I am legally blind (right on the 20/200 line with my glasses on) and the scale is legible for me as is but I really love that it records my weight directly into my phone so that I don't even have to squint downwards. Plus my weight loss and maintenance progress is automatically recorded every time I step on the scale! There is one major con for me and that is that the app automatically shows you your BMI and what class your BMI score falls into whether you want to see it or not. The BMI scale is extremely inaccurate in recording your weight category and indicating health because is does not take into account your body type, fitness level or lifestyle. I am a very muscular and healthy guy who is just a few pounds overweight, no doctor would ever call me obese but this app does every time I open it. Realistically speaking, no person needs to know their BMI score. My GP can know my BMI score and take it into account along with knowing my body type, lifestyle and fitness level and she can tell me what weight class I actually fall under. For that reason and that reason alone, I absolutely do not recommend this scale to any person who has struggled with or is vulnerable to disordered eating and or body dysmorphia. I've struggled with that a long long time ago but currently I am in a good place mentally to use this scale and know that the BMI information on it is a load of bullcrap but back 4 or 5 years ago this could have triggered a relapse for me.

The scale arrived well packaged using quality packing materials. It feels well constructed with quality fit & finish. More important, it was a breeze to setup, anyone with the slightest technology skill can do it. I downloaded the app and bluetooth pairing was the easiest I have ever done. The app for my Iphone running iOS 10.3 is intuitive and easy to use. Another HUGE PLUS For The scale is that it uses regular alkaline batteries, unlike my older scale which has a rechargeable power pac. I constantly have to keep recharging it and it was always dead when I needed it. This was the main reason I went looking for another scale to replace it. The LOFTILLA scale is a perfect size and even with my older eyeballs, I can read the scale very easily which is another big plus. I wholeheartedly recommend this scale to anyone looking for a nice scale that records their information and wants a digital display. HOOD JOB LOFTILLA!!!

This is the second time I bought this scale. First I bought it in December of 2022 and loved it, but during my move earlier this year I wanted to clean house and start fresh so I gave it to my dad. After a few months I missed it and bought the exact same one lol. It’s reliable, looks nice, and the app is user-friendly (and free!!).

What a good idea it is to connect weighting scales to your phone! On the app I can 100% see my progress in my weight loss journey. It’s very helpful!
