Not strong enough to hold my 9 inch ipad that I use for work while im driving, it keeps falling down.

This is a solidly built cup phone or tablet holder. It holds my iPhone 7 Plus with protective case on without any problem. The grip on the holder is strong and held my 5.5” phone securely during driving. I also tried my iPad Air 2 with 9.7” screen. The holder can handle it, but it is a pretty tight fit and I am afraid the holder will break if I put the iPad in and out often.I was puzzled at the beginning because the base was too small to fill my cup holder space in my Sonata, then I realized that I need to twist the bar handle area that is between to the neck and the base for cup holder width adjustment. 3 rubber legs will stick out and support the base in the cup holder if it is done properly. I think the package should include the directions with the mount to educate customers. Some customers may buy this as a gift and the recipients may not have any idea how it works without proper instructions.After the proper way of putting the base in my cup holder and my phone is in the slot snuggly and tight, I can easily adjust my iPhone’s viewable angle. It depends on where is your cup holder located in your car, it can be a little tricky. If your car has a cup holder that is very close to the middle armrest, you will have an issue with this phone mount because the screen will be too close to your arm. I prefer the length of the adjustable neck is longer. If it is longer, I don’t need to keep my head down for a better viewing angle. I find myself moving my head down just to get a better look at my phone and that is annoying. I prefer to be able to take a quick glance without moving my head down due to safety concern.

The tablet shakes a bit when moving so it makes it seem a bit flimsy towards the top. It still holds well however, good item

The stand is too weak to hold up anything bigger than an iPad mini. I have a 2019 iPad air in it and it cannot hold that up. It’s slowly over time will drip down. The weight of the iPad will cause the stand to pull out of the cupholder. Mind you again this is an iPad Air.

I wasn't super impressed with this phone/tablet mount. The point of a mount is to allow you to focus on the road while still being able to view your phone safely. This isn't the case with this mount, unless you have cup holders at eye level.The look of this mount is attractive, is all black and will fit it with many vehicle interiors. My vehicle has a black interior and this looks like it was designed to be there. The design is simplistic, your phone or tablet fits into the mount. The mount attaches to the neck, the neck screws into the cup holder. The materials are plastic including the parts that you need to adjust, this makes me concerned about their longevity.Overall, I would only recommend this to people who have cup holders that are placed very high in their vehicles. For most people, this mount will be too low and force you to take your eyes off the road to look down, making this as much a hazard as holding your phone in your hand.
