Great bargain!
Great hammoc for a fantastic price! Although it wasn't able to use it for very long, as I quickly discovered that hammocks make me motion sick.... I was able to use it long enough to find that it's got a good construction, however the material is very thin an light weight. So I'm sure it will work fine as long as you don't let it come into contact with anything sharp! So just be careful before you climb into the hammock that you don't have anything sharp or pointy on your person because it could very well tear the the hammock and render it useless. Also, because the material is so thin, it's not going to provide any insulation from the cold during fall and winter months, so I would not recommend this at all during cold weather camping. This is strictly a summer hammock, and I would absolutely recommend a mosquito bed net be purchased with this hammock if you are considering buying it! The pouch the hammock comes in is actually part of the hammock itself, and functions as a pocket on the side of the hammock to keep small valuables in when in use, such as keys, cell phone, jewelry, flashlight/headlamp, etc.My biggest recommendations to anyone considering getting into hammock camping for the first time are these:1. Try laying in a hammock BEFORE purchasing one to be sure you don't get motion sick! That would quickly put a damper on the whole ordeal....Been there, done that! Not fun...2. Only use them for warmer months when getting cold at night is not going to be an issue, as these super light-weight hammocks don't offer any insulation whatsoever, and it's nearly impossible to get into a sleeping bag while in the hammock!3. Be sure to also purchase a good mosquito bed net with any hammock, unless it comes with a built-in mosquito net!!! You will get eaten alive all night long otherwise! Trust me, you will regret it, if you don't! Been there, done that also! Lol4. Make sure wherever you are planning on camping has enough trees, and that they are also trees that can support the weight of a hammock... If you are camping in a field area, or on the side of a mountain, a hammock is not going to work!Other than that, this is a great product and I would definitely recommend it, especially for less than $20! It's really a great bargain.

Buy this and also get the Rallt Hammock Tree Straps (don't use the ropes that are included)
Hear me out... the first time I set this thing up I hated it, totally hated it. I went back and read the reviews and it looked like everyone hated it for the same reason. I thought you know, maybe we're all doing it wrong, after all this thing is absurdly cheap and it's probably our first time hanging a hammock. Well, that's what it was, after all. Disclaimer: I did NOT use the included rope because apparently it's garbage and it's not long enough for me anyways. I got the Rallt Hammock Tree Straps, which was perfect. SO here is the trick you need to know to hang a hammock well (step 1 is get better tree straps like those I mentioned)... You need the straps to hang at about a 30* angle relative to the ground on each side. If you have the hammock too tight (ropes parallel to ground) you're going to have the fabric so tight around you it's going to feel like you're a pig in a blanket. Hang it properly and it will hug you a little but it's not going to be so claustrophobic and you can actually get really comfortable in it.I highly recommend this uber-lightweight hammock WITH the Rallt tree straps for just lounging about in it, taking a little nap, or for sitting in it like a recliner chair with your feet dangling... This is not going to be the best option probably for sleeping in overnight as you also need a tarp and a bug net and an underquilt etc etc and there are options out there better suited to that particular purpose. But for what it's made for, man this is the best thing I've purchased for taking on hiking trips, and it's so lightweight. Finding the perfect spot to hang this just really makes a day super memorable.

This is by far my FAVORITE camping accessory.
This is by far my FAVORITE camping accessory!! I was worried that it wouldn't be great quality, but boy was I wrong!! It was wonderful. It held my husband great who is around 240lbs. My husband also has pretty broad shoulders and it was still wide enough to cup him while he slept (see picture). The colors are vibrant, it's lightweight, and easy to hang. I will, however, be purchasing the Eno suspension system, because the ropes tended to stretch a little over time, but in my experience that happens with most ropes. Bottom line, I highly recommend it, it is great quality and incredibly comfortable! This is one purchase I guarantee you won't regret!!Quick note-I rely greatly on customer reviews when I am looking to purchase an item, and I know others do too, so I try to be as thorough and honest in giving it as possible. I put a lot of thought into my review and appreciate feedback, so if you have found my review helpful, please take a moment to click on "yes” to let me know. Thanks so much for reading and feel free to ask me any questions! :)

Good quality hammock. Great price. Comes with worthless suspension.
Good hammock for the price. Maybe not up to par with the name brands, but hey. $17. Comes with a pretty worthless, very short pair of poly ropes for suspension. Would work for hanging on smallish trees. I'd suggest upgrading the suspension system with your purchase. I bought this one for my 9 year old daughter to camp in during backpacking and trips, festivals, car camping, lounging, etc. It does a fine job of meeting my expectations there. Its a piece of nylon. I did try it out myself. As a 220 lb, 6' guy it's a little small. I could sleep in it in a pinch. Hard to get a good diagonal laying position as an adult male, but smaller framed people and kids would have no problem. While laying in it, I did notice that I could feel the seems, where in an eno I've never noticed them. Giving it 4 stars on account of the price. If it were more expensive I might go three. Only because of the crappy ropes they send out with it. And the fact that you can feel where it's stitched together. I don't see there being any problem with my kids sleeping in it at all.I like it! Very good deal on a decent quality gathered end hammock.
