Only suitable for Schrader valves not to be used on Presta-type valves. Puncturesafe will repair the majority of punctures safely without you being aware that a puncture has occurred however it is important to check your tyres on a regular basis. In this way you will see the telltale mark that indicates that Puncturesafe has repaired a puncture. Puncturesafe contains a lubricant which will often help ease the puncturing object out before the user is aware of the puncture. However, tyres must be checked regularly and foreign objects removed if still present. NB: If a screw is present DO NOT pull out as this will have the effect of enlarging the hole. Instead use mole grips or similar to remove with a twisting motion. Puncturesafe will not repair damage to a tyre where safety is compromised; for example damage to the sidewall or where a large trauma to the tyre has occurred either through a large chunk of rubber being lost or the radial plies being severed. This damage typically occurs when a large piece of glass lacerates the tyre. Any damage of this nature will normally result in controlled deflation and will often enable the vehicle to be removed from a dangerous situation. Puncturesafe unlike other tyre puncture repair products is a PERMANENT solution that is NON TOXIC. Many other products contain Ethylene Glycol which is toxic to humans and animals.
