I like my coffee… I make it like luke-warm ice cream, so it’s typically not very hot when it’s ready and I put this lid on. Nice and tight, shake all that sugar around, and by the third shake the lid has expanded and coffee is drizzling out everywhere… on you, your shoes, the counter and floor…. And my coffee dries a sticky mess.Don’t shake it, you say? Just rinse it under the tap real quick after and all’s good? Well, also don’t carry it in the crook of your arm as you’re walking out the door, or lay it on the passenger seat of the car, cause it’s going to go everywhere….Well, just tighten it more after another shake, you say?? No, no….. that doesn’t work either. After you wrench it tighter and shake it, or put it in the crook of your arm, or lay it on the passenger seat of the car, it’s gonna expand some more…. And it’s going to start leaking again, likely with you completely unaware cause you *think* you won that battle.No you didn’t…. No, you didn’t.Even if you DO catch it and tighten it yet a third time, you gonna have a nasty ordeal getting it off… cause you saw them mess it made in the car, set it on the table when you got to where you’re going, and the lid is cooling as you take a minute to do whatever, and you go to open that jar and find the lid has cooled so much faster than the glass, you can’t get it off…. Nope, not until you either run the lid under a hot hot tap, or wait for your drink to get cold. Told you, you didn’t win.The lids either need to not expand so much, or have a decent silicon gasket to prevent leakage.Works great for cold drinks or to keep bugs/dust off when you’re working outside. Oh yeah, keeps the cats from taking a drink… I like that, too.But it sucks for warm stuffs when you’re traveling… In those instances I’ve learned to treat it as if it doesn’t have a lid at all. Meh.

These kids fit both size of mason jars perfectly. They are very durable.

Nice lids

I've bought several of these, I end up losing them when I send food home with family and friends so have to keep buying more! Love them.

I have lots of mason jars with the spaghetti sauce lids and these look so much nicer. They fit perfectly. My only regret is that I should have purchased the regular lid size rather than the multi pack. Now I have 8 extra large lids and no jars for that size.

I don't can anything but I use mason jars for a lot of other things. I love these colored plastic lids. Easy to use and wash and prettier. The metal ones I had to wash by hand and dry right away, and they still rusted fairly fast. I have not stored liquid in it, I use the ones with a wire closure and silicone ring for that. But everything else gets a plastic lid.

Finally a decent price solution to using your jars over and over again. During Covid there was not a replacement lid to be had. With these lids there are no worries.

These are lids not sealers.. Now I don't have to reuse metal sealers after the jars have been opened. I can see at a glance which jar I want in our crowded fridge. It's nice to have both regular and wide mouth lids as I use lots of Mason jars. The lids fit well and I like that I can put them in the dishwasher. I would recommend this product.

I use canning jars to store dry goods and got these because I was sick of tossing rusty metal lids. For dry good storage, I’d give these five stars. And they’d be great for storing liquids upright in a fridge. But, I wouldn’t trust them with thin liquids in a bag where the jar could get knocked over and jostled around unless you test them first. I put water in two different brands of canning jars and held them upside down. They didn’t leak immediately, but as soon as I shook the jars they both leaked despite the fact that the lids were tight. They were leak proof on an old honey jar I had though, so you might get lucky depending on which jars you use.

These lids are colourful and work well for storage. As long as you have the lid on tight they do not leak with liquid. Packageing was very nice although each lid was individually wrapped in plactic ...that was a waste. I guess it comes down to being sanitary.Thanks I would recommend this product.

These work decently enough for pantry items or leftovers in the fridge. However, the reason I was okay spending $20+ on them was the claim that they are leak proof; they are not. Each lid leaks.

Loved the different colours,& that they don't leak& are easy to clean! Perfect for replacing snap Lids once jar is open to put in fridge!
