Perfect Twist Hydro Bottle Blue

This is my review and I didn't get a discount on this purchase. ( How do you people get these?) Anyway, I realize that most people use this as a sports bottle but I don't and it works perfectly for my needs. I am handicapped and once settled for the day in the living room, getting up numerous times to refill a bottle of water or add ice just isn't do-able for me. The contigo bottle I had was great but it is not designed to keep water cold and so if definitely doesn't, ice melts in it very fast, requiring me to constantly have to refill it with at least more ice. I read all the reviews on this bottle and gave it a try and it works perfect for my needs. It truly does keep ice cubes for over 24 hours, no lie! The ONLY thing negative I had with this bottle was when it arrived, the grey plastic piece that you actually drink from, I guess you would say.."Its spout" had a super sharp piece of molded plastic sticking from it that would have definitely made for a very unhappy lip but less than 3 minutes with an emery board took care of that. I love the bottle, it works for me and I plan to buy several for friends.

Update: I've had this for less than 2 months and the paint on the outside is flaking off. It has never been in the dishwasher, only gently handwashed. It works great but it's not going to be pretty for very long!Original review: It does a good job of keeping ice water icy cold. I put two handfuls of ice in it at 1:00, and at 5:00 there is still ice in there. Just what I was looking for! My only complaint is that the finish on the bottle is scuffed up. Don't buy this if you are looking for a pretty bottle. Mine's scuffed on about half of the bottle. But it's functional so I'm keeping it. I also found the rubber ring that holds the lid on to be a pain so I removed that. Now I like it. As long as it's not in the bright sunlight, then I get mildly annoyed at the scuffs...

I use this at work in a fairly warm factory. It will keep ice for most of my shift depending on how many times you refill your water. Even after the ice is gone it will stay cold for a long time. There were a couple of reasons I didnt give it five stars. 1. The cap is not great. It doesnt leak but it does have a sharp edge that I believe will eventually cut through its tether.2. I wish it had a bit more volume. (To be fair I knew this before ordering)3. It had a strong smell and taste that took several washings to get rid of.

This bottle is great. Yes rhe dot on the bottom comes off... but who cares. I work 10 hour days. Fill it half full of ice so I have room for my water since the ice dont melt much. When I get home (12 hours after filling it) I have to shake the ice out and sometimes put hot water in it to melt it so I can get it all out. Ince I took the top off and the basket out and left it on the counter. . STILL HAD ICE IN IT THE NEXT MORNING! Awesome and can not recommend enough. The one bad thing is when you tell your friends, they have to get the same color since I only see it in blue.

I haven't used this yet, but by the other reviews, I'm sure it will be fine keeping my cold drinks cold. The only thing I was disappointed in and didn't realize at the time of purchase is that you need to screw off a lid every time you drink. I was wanting a pop up spout or something. I just didn't look close enough when I purchased it.

Sturdy, handy water bottle. Keeps the water cool as described. I like the plastic hinge for convenient carrying. Bought this after another, more expensive brand failed me. Paint on this chips off easily, so be careful when putting in a bike water bottle rack, etc.

I always take a tumbler of ice water to bed every night and usually wake up to room temperature or luke warm water left. I needed something that would last until the morning to make taking my bedside vitamins easier. So far this bottle is exactly what I was looking for. Also great for shuffling through soccer games, basketball practices and gym time. Fill it up in the morning and you'll still have ice cold water at the end of the day. Great price and looks awesome!

I had high hope for this but it is over estimated on the cold retention. I put 1/3 bottle of ice in with cold water and it lasted only 3,4 hours in room temperature and all the ice are gone. It is not half as long as it claims but it is still cold. I think because of the cap is not insulated as well as the body. That is where it the cold escape from insulation.
