I love this book. There are a TON of massage techniques here, some few techniques I didn't learn in massage school. However, you do not have to be a massage therapist to use this book. Great pictures so you see, not just read what they are talking about.

I can't say enough positive things about this book! It's fabulous! Great step-by-step instructions for several types of massages including reflexology and Swedish massage. I've seen several massage books and this is far and away my favorite!

I'm planning on taken up physiotherapy as a hobby to eventually pursue part time. The book is actually really informative, sometimes the directions can be a bit confusing, especially those without pictures to guide them. The thing that surprised me was the sheer range of techniques that was included in this book. Would recommend for budding masseuses.

I have received this book and I am enjoying the read. I am learning new ways and proper usage of strokes. Very easy to understand. I love it.

this is not a text for massage therapists. this is an overview of styles for people who are not in the field. its a pretty decent, short and sweet approach to learning about the basics of each style listed. but, world's best massage techniques? absolutely not. a more appropriate title might be the world's basic massage techniques

My husband requested a massage book and this one is excellent. No, it's not for massage professionals, but is great for the interested couple or person to learn different techniques and sequences. The downside? You feel a bit like jello after trying out a few.

I found this book very straight forward and easy to follow. As a complete novice, I found the instructions for set-up helpful and the descriptions of the different movements very detailed.It would be nice if this were spiral-bound so it's easier to prop open mid-massage while you are still learning the different techniques.
