They didn't arrive on time
I needed them for a presentation but they didn't show up on time. However, when they did arrive they were the right size that I needed. I will eventually use them for another presentation at another time.

Matte finish light-weight posterboard
I bought these based on ratings and some comments that they were coated on one side. They're not. These are a thinner, lightweight poster board that is matte finish / uncoated on either side. They may be fine for some uses, but for spray paint art these are too thin & absorbent so the paint leaks through and the paper warps when it dries.I suspect other paints and some markers may even bleed through. Definitely not as sturdy as poster board from art/craft stores, and big box stores.

Cheap Cardstock & Arrives Damaged
This is one of maybe 3 reviews I've ever written in my life...I've always wanted to write a review that invoked the infamous declaration: "If I could give 0 stars, I would!" Lol, it's such a hallmark of our times, and now it's my turn. I feel like I flushed my money away, so at least I paid for the right to say this is the worst thing I've ever bought on Amazon, and that counts my son's squirt gun that lasted 24 hours.I am a professional illustrator, and I have been my whole life. So, when I need supplies, I am generally not duped. I also have deadlines and getting things like paper and pens can be vital.I noticed most companies don't give a flying red fart about their poster board, seemingly, because they make no effort to distinguish one from another. So, when I read that Royal Brite's poster board was:"High-quality poster boardSmooth, coating on each side.UV & water resistant surfaceLong lasting color stay capabilities.Surface is compatible with marker, paint, pencil and ink."I was like, "OK, yeah, THAT is exactly what I use, and I need some asap." GOOD poster board is actually useful for penmanship. It is not merely for kid-markers. "Why wouldn't I get Strathmore Smooth?" I do get that, but I wanted something larger and cheaper to experiment with. And, welp, it is not high quality. It is not coated (nor do I believe it's more resistant than a brown paper bag) and its surface is NOT smooth nor ready for pens and markers unless you want a bleed-fest.Could you make art on this board? NOPE.Could you even make disposable signage on this board? NOOOOPE.It is, in fact, a giant form of cheap index paper (ya know--the stuff that comes in stacks for 2 dollars and is often ruled on one side).**AND, check out how it arrived! They packed it in a plastic envelope, like the consistency of a Hefty Bag, WITH NO BACKING. It is damaged so much, its only use might be to give to my toddler to wipe boogers on, or perhaps it could be a decent floor mat for my dog to chew bones on.SHAMEFUL.

Lighter weight
This poster board is thinner than other poster boards Iβve gotten. Itβs more like water color paper. If you hold it up to the light, you can see the shadow of your hand through it. I will use this for the kidsβ finger painting and other art work and go to the office supply store for something sturdier.
