Good Kayak/ Not great needs some modifications
Good beginner kayak as long as price stays under 800. If price goes above 800, buy a Vibe Sea Ghost 110 much better overall kayak for 830.First standing in this kayak is nearly impossible with out a stand assist bar. The feeting area is in a downward slant and would make it very off balanced trying to stand on your tippy toes. Second there is only 2 flush fishing pole holders not 4, so that is just a flat lie on their part. Third the bottom of the hull has a weird circle cut out for the middle compartment doesnt seem to be an issue, but I'd be willing to bet the plastic is weakest at this point. So you'd have to be extremely cautious not to puncture this spot in rough or low water.I'm giving it a 3 because this kayak has a lot of good features, such as the rudder, and the comfort of the chair. I believe this is a new company and after a couple slight modifications with this kayak in the near future it will be a top notch kayak. But it isn't there yet, once again I bought this kayak for $750. Which is a great price if it goes over 800, buy the Vibe they are a more established company, and have already worked out most the kinks and modifications needed to be a great beginner kayak.

Decent kayak, some flaws
This kayak looked promising when I first set my eyes on it. I read the descriptions and looked at reviews. It seemed like it would be a great fishing kayak. It was really easy to set up, though I was first confused about strapping on the seat, but after playing around a bit it only took a couple of minutes to get everything in place. Surprised it came with scupper plugs already installed, so that's a plus. Also the paddles were included with rubber stoppers on both sides to prevent water dripping down the bar into the kayak. Really stable out in the water and even when standing, just as advertised. Kayaking in the past there's always water splashing into the kayak and soaking up my bottom thus being quite uncomfortable especially when I'm out in the water for more than an hour. So, I really liked that it came with the raised seat, compared to other kayaks I have rode on that cost twice as much. The compartments are quite nice that they come with the removable pouches so you can store other equipment inside the hull. There's two rod holders on both sides behind the sitting area which come with cover flaps; a nice addition. And a third rod holder that can be installed in front between the legs for ease. Although I don't actually like using the rod holders (I end up smacking rods when casting) I just place my rods on the sides and this being a wide kayak it has enough space for me to do that. I like that the rudder is metal so it doesn't get damaged if it hits something under water and it steers very well. Paddling is comfortable and natural, and it has good speed for a wider kayak.Okay, now to the things I didn't like about the kayak. I certainly did not like the handle/grip hole in front of the kayak. I have small hands so gripping it is not comfortable especially as the handle bulges out where the fingers would wrap around. The rest of the handles are also poorly designed. I transport kayaks over the roof of my car, so it requires me to lift it over my head. I use the method where you grab both handles on the left and right side of the kayak and roll it over onto the shoulders. However, I am unable to do this as the handles are installed on the side of the kayak instead on the topside as other kayaks I've dealt with. This results in them painfully pinching my fingers against the side when I attempt to roll it over onto my lap and shoulder. With the rear handle I have to dismantle the rudder just to be able to carry it as the rudder sits right over it. With the rudder in place the hand catches onto the metal sides and edges of the rudder which hurts a lot. Although I did like the seat at first, it is made of plastic wicker and it started coming undone and painfully poking my back. So, yeah, quite a bit of pain and discomfort designed into this thing. Also, not about the product but the shipping. My kayak was shipped through AM Trucking and took way longer to arrive than it was supposed to, which was supposed to be from five to ten business days. It ended up taking nearly a month to arrive, and when I did track my kayak I saw that it spent more than a week just sitting in their delivery terminal. They kept pushing the delivery date forward and even stopped updating the delivery date after the third week. I kept in touch with them and bugged them so much about it that they stopped answering my messages and finally delivered it two days later.Overall, the product itself is not terrible. Being on the lower end of kayaks in terms of price and quality there were negatives to be expected. Though I have ridden the cheap $200 kayak from Wal-Mart and it performed quite well, not to mention, it was very light and easy to carry. What I'm trying to say is there isn't a large difference between the super cheap kayak and this kayak in functionality and features, which at first seemed disappointing to me. However, it is sturdier, stable, and of course, better looking than the cheaper one. I'm the kind of person who looks at functionality more than quality or "price", so it is quite difficult for me to recommend this kayak. I don't feel like I made a mistake in buying this kayak, as this is the first one that I will own, and I am more than glad just to have it so I can go out fishing on the lakes and rivers. I would recommend it in a sense that any higher priced kayak offers very little, and I mean VERY little, difference in features, disregarding kayaks with pedal/propeller-drive systems. In fact, I've seen and ridden kayaks with less features than this one, but cost hundreds more, so really you're getting a good deal out of this one.To reiterate, the kayak feels great and stable in the water, cool rudder-control system, and nice hatches and pouches. However, poor grip and handle design/placement, and somewhat poor production quality of seat.

This is an awesome kayak. Very stable and tracks well
I bought this kayak for my sons birthday. We took the kayak out on the Pascagoula River Marsh last weekend. This is an awesome kayak. Very stable and tracks well. The seat is very comfortable. Lots of storage. This kayak cannot be matched for the money. Great customer service as well. They will reach out to you and ensure that you are completely satisfied. Ready to fish!

Update
finally got it!!! I am so pumped!!.is bigger than it looks on amazon. I can put a lot of gear on this..I was thinking about traveling the erie canal next year and stopping at all the camping places along the way so I can carry a lot of gear. I love this Kaya...I had it out on a local creek and had 2 extra rods in the pole holders and noticed they kept getting caught in the trees when near the shore...then discovered I can put all my extra rods and gear inside the hull out of the way from my feet and other gear. The rudder was great as we drifted the stream..the other guys had to set their rod down to steer with a paddle...I just steered using my feet with the rudder..was a great time!

great for fishing
great for fishing. not so good going long distances to find new fishing spots as there is a lot of drag on the bottom from a large indented flat on the bottom and the excessive amount of drain holes. The chair is very comfortable and can sit on for hours without getting sore.It is possible to stand up on the kayak but it is pretty wobbly for myself at 5'10 210lbs. wouldn't be able to casting and fish while standing.

Disgusted
First time making a big purchase ever in my life(I'm 19). Me and all my friends ordered kayaks right before summer started for something fun to do after graduating high school. Unfortunately I bought from a company that is run by chimpanzee's. They first delayed my order 10 days, no big deal. Then right before it was supposed to leave factor it changed to 15 more days. Im a relaxed and forgiving person so I didn't even bother contacting them for info. This point my friends are out on their kayaks for a couple weeks. Fastforward a month and half it finally shows. I called and asked for compensation. TBH I figured a 50% discount at this point. They offered free t shirt with there logo, waterproof bags, improved paddles, with transport wheels to roll on. I thought whatever seems like some useful stuff. So I told them medium shirt, Ended up getting 2 large shirts, and the same paddle that came with the kayak from the start. Summer was pretty much over as I took kayak out only 2 times and pretty much have no desire to kayak ever again
