I use these ties for EVERYTHING! Fishing rods, wires, staves, etc. used to use “hook & loop” ties and switched to these. Much more versatile, reusable, and they don’t get as dirty. If they do, a quick wipe with a damp rag & they’re good as new. More durable too.

Buy more than what you thought you need. lol they are very handy

I ended up buying several boxes of these in various signs. They seem to hold up very well, and they have lots of uses. I use some in my home office to maintain all cords for devices. Its easy to remove and change them as needed. They hold headphones, a cell phone holder and LED light on a desk stand. I also use some for cords in various places around the house, and to attach items to my packs, bicycle handlebars, and to the thwarts on my canoe. I used some for outdoor holiday lights. It's easier and using cord or regular thin wire, and nice that it is re-useable.

I love the flexibility of these gear ties. I had the short ones (2 or 3 inch) for ages and I use them for everything that needs a temporary tie. I have yet to have them 'wear out' from wrapping and unwrapping them around things. These are the 6 inch ties. I find them a little long for computer cables, but are perfect for some of the other things I use it for.

Easy to use. Easy to reuse. Sturdy and come in multiple sizes. I use them for cameras, cords, to keep track of small items. I use the large one on tripods, pairs of shoes, and anything I wasn't to keep together when traveling. They twist, bend and hold tight, aren't bulky, and don't get caught on other things like Velcro ties. They are not stretchable so I bought several sizes so they are on hand when I need them. After trying several ties these are not my preferred ties.

I've been using various different sizes of the Nite Ize gear ties for years now. They do eventually wear out, but the cost is low enough and the utility is high enough, I never complain. I keep coming back for more to handle an ever expanding set of uses for different types of cabling. Initially I used them only for my computer stuff for travel. Now I'm using them to wrap up coaxial cable, head sets and more for my radios. They have tons of uses and the material is just excellent. Six inch size is good for larger cables. For small stuff like speakers, you should get the 3 inch.
